Wow, first a big thank you for all the posts here. They really helped me in my mongering. I'm a vegas guy and let me tell you, I had so much fun in Tijuana it was crazy! Got there around 4 pm and left around 10 pm same day. Drive from vegas (I like driving) Parked at the parking lot with the swap meet near the border and walked across. The Mexican Federales were there to greet everyone, but no biggie. Grabbed a cab and told the cabbie Zona Norte Honk Kong. He said $5 and took me in. 5 minutes later, I was in heaven. I never expected it to be so nice. I walked in and Diablo an older balding gentleman brought me a beer and a girl. The girl seemed a bit shy. Diablo really took care of me there. He spoke good english and was a good translator for me the whole time I was in the club. A beer was $4. Adelita Bar may have some 8's and 9's, but none of them are going to do TLNs ("toda la noche" = allnighters) for $150-200 unless you are a stud and one of them is seriously interested in you for her own pleasure and fantasy after fucking a slew of fat old guys all day (like me). That goes 100X more if you're a newbie and you don't speak conversational spanish. Adelita chicas are the best English speaking group in the zona norte, but still a decent number don't speak any English except for the price.

$150-200 TLNs are easily obtainable in bars other than Adelita and Hong Kong. The bars less frequented by gringos. If you speak spanish and all night is what you want, you should focus more on bars like Las Chevelas and Tropical. You can simulate an actual date in these bars, spending time drinking and dancing with the chicas (which does cost money too). You have the chance to build a real connection and they will take care of your all night needs and maybe for nothing because this is another breed from the hardened Adelita / Hong Kong puta culture. These chicas are more girl next door type, more natural, less puta. Service is better though the chicas may be less sexually sophisticated. But they are more game than the robotic Adelita short term high volume providers.

Fine to get a room at the Adelita hotel for multiple short term use. But they won't let you bring in chicas from other bars or street girls. An Adelita TLN if you insist on an 8 or 9 is going to be more like $300 or more, and she will be trying to escape the room a lot earlier than you have in mind. For TLNs, better to find a nicer room in a decent hotel outside of the red light district even if you pay more, and take chicas from pretty much any other bar than Adelita.

There's really so much more to explain to a newbie but I can't write a primer here. Best to just make the trip and don't be too ambitious. Go a few times and you get a feel for the monger culture and ultimately develop the expertise that it actually takes to get the best that Tijuana has to offer. Don't plan anything. The answer is blowing in the wind.

For the newbie, I recomend Hotel Nelson for a base camp. It is right at the arch so it is easy to find and close to zona. The zona can get crazy at times so it is nice to have a place to retreat to for rest and bathroom. Its an older building but your a half block from zona roja. Its safe and has a nice view from the third floor.

As stated before, go with the flow there and check all things out before making decisions. Lots of chicas and entertainment to be seen.

I don't think you really want to spend the night at adelita's room, regardless of whether its 12 or 35.

You may be better off (depending on when in the week) , just booking a room earlier at ticuan or caesars.

I was in San Diego for work and planned on going to Tijuana to partake in the activities. Did my research on this site and others. Had a great experience down there.

Getting there: I drove down from San Diego and parked in one of the lots across the street from the pedestrian bridge. Parking was $5 for 10 hours. Good deal. You can also take the SD Trolley which drops off at the border, but the trolley stops around 1 am so if you plan on staying in Tijuana any later, the trolley may not be an option. Once parked, you'll have to walk the pedestrian bridge over to Tijuana. The bridge is pretty long, but everything is well lit and safe. Once in Tijuana, I jumped in one of the yellow cabs. The yellow cabs do not have meters and I have read various reports that the charge to Hong Kong can be between $5-$10. The yellow cab driver will tell you that there is nowhere to pull over in front of Hong Kong and instead will drop you off in front of Adelita bar. That's fine. Just walk two doors down to Hong Kong. I never asked the driver for the price of the cab ride. Instead I just handed him $5 and got out. Never had a problem.

Safety: I never felt unsafe at the border crossing or at the clubs. The only time I was a little concerned was during the cab ride. The ride to Zona Norte at night goes through some pretty shady areas. There were a couple of points where we passed by some shops with groups of shady looking men hanging out in front. Kept worrying that the cabbie would just pull over in one of these shady areas. But he didn't. Once in the Zona Norte I felt very safe. It is well lit and has kind of a Downtown Vegas / Fremont Street feel to it.

The Club: Walked into the Hong Kong club and I was in heaven. The club decor is very high class. More importantly, there were beautiful ladies everywhere. There is a main stage in the center of the club. Another stage in the back of the club and one more stage upstairs. The stage dancers do your typical strip club show. Then there are girls dancing on the bar and on mini stages. Then there are girls hanging out in different areas of the club, just waiting to be picked up. There was a shaving cream show when two girls covered in cream made out and licked eachother's pussies on stage. Dollar tips will get you a good opportunity to grope the girls, maybe suck on their tits and finger their pussies. Most of the girls in the club were 8's. I had two opportunities to cross the border this week. The first was on Wednesday. Followed the instructions to catch the cab and off I went to Adlettas. I arrived mid-afternoon. I also heard an unconfirmed rumor that the policia had had a tipoff that a cartel bigwig was at the zona that day, and that's why they were shaking the clubs down.
