I'm surprised that there are still advertisements being posted daily after this. Are they serious?
The article taken at face value raises quite a few questions as far as I'm concerned.
1) The Hypnosis Center was originally on Cherokee Blvd. But because the landlord at that location supposedly received a tip from an adjacent tenant, the landlord confronted the Hypnosis Center owner and gave HC an ultimatum to either vacate or he (the landlord) was going to contact the police. Fair enough.
2) Hypnosis Center vacates the Cherokee Blvd premises within 5 days of said ultimatum. Again, fair enough.
3) Hypnosis Center relocates to a new location on Shallowford Road "just a few days ago" prior to the bust going down by Chattanooga PD. Red flag #1.
4) Midori Spa in East Ridge is specifically mentioned as a target of an ongoing investigation. Red flag #2.
Q1: Why would the Chattanooga PD wait until HC moved from their original location before making the bust?
Q2: If they didn't have enough dirt on HC to raid it when it was on Cherokee, how did they so quickly obtain enough to make a bust on Shallowford after "just a few days"?
Q3: Could the wait been as a favor of the original landlord to spare him of the negative publicity?
Q4: If so, why? He still spilled the beans to the newspaper.
Q5; Did any money change hands in exchange for holding off the raid?
Q6: Why would East Ridge PD want to jeopardize their investigation by publicly outing Midori in advance?
Something just ain't right in all this.
