I know I am coming from left field but it isn't religion, Religion is just the scapegoat. This is about fascism and misogynistic values. Holland actually has a very devout Christian following, they are just progressive and understand that making prostitution illegal hurts women instead of helping them.
God and the worship of god have nothing to do with restrictive laws. And just ask a "feminist" atheist if s/he thinks women selling their bodies is a good idea.

For the past few months I've been on the hunt in every part of the Bronx you could think of at the dark of night to early dawn and other than a hit of "quality" pickins here and there, nothing. I remember the good old days when I could go to Jerome ave. And drive from Fordham to 161 and have my pick of the liter. Hunts point was on full blast in the 80's and early 90's but now. It just sucks ass. I've lived in New York my whole life and I can tell you, the game is over. Looks like the over priced Craig's list for me.
In addition, the so-called "moral majority" has a morbid fear that the evil, cunning "Huggy Bear" pimps of the world will prey on their "college bound", decent, honest, beautiful "Polly Pure Breds" and force them into the world of prostitution and drugs. The interesting fact is that the majority of prostitutes, in fact, choose their pimps.

I heard on the news last night that Craigslist is getting rid of their "erotic service" category and renaming it by the end of the week. They will make a new adult category and screen every post in order to curb prostitution. If this is true we may see more street action with lower prices. Did anyone else hear about this?
It's already done. The posts that are up on erotic are the last. Once they expire the section will be removed. The Adult section is already in use

Yes that is true.We are due some new blood to keep the hobby going.A lot of the providers may switch to back page.They can also switch to casual encounters or women seeking men.This is America so people will get smarter and more subtle in the way they post ads.This forum might see an increase in classified ads.You know the saying:It is the world's oldest profession

These hours are posted for a reason. Cause there is nothing worth wild out there other times. The best times for any strip is 3am til damn near 8am like in BK (peak time 4-6am when girls is coming home from the strip clubs looking for a little xtra cash and LE is getting ready for a shift change).
