The parking area by Bonita is kind of spooky, used to be druggies hangout late at night. The strip place attract all type of strangers, don't really know if that place is still in business.

Any words from Ashley in town? It seem every time I pass by there the parking lot look dead.

Look like NB might be another place going down soon. We'll see.

We'll see.[/QUOTE]Be careful when parking; mo bettah park where your vehicle (and yourself) can be seen from inside the KB, like Sunflower / Sunshine (?). Nowadays our islands going crazy with the violent crimes and disappearances so no take chances and stay sharp.

Going be interesting to see what going be like for the KBs when football season pau. I dunno when the KBs going realize that business is largely about customer service; not employee (KBG) ego and pride. Business is customer-led, not employee-led; enough about this already from moi. Ashley's needs to open earlier in order to compete with Di's Karaoke, Asahi, NB, etc.

Anyone have any recent intel on club platinum, Fka Reno, it's on king street in Kalihi.

I haven't been there in a while but from what I remember:

Pros: above average bar food, dedicated parking, friendly bartenders.

Cons: Workers were all big local gals, no one under 160 lbs. Also seemed like a fair number of lesbians (not the cute hot lesbian type, the butch type.) hung out there. No private rooms, not that I wanted to use them anyway.

They have had a few changes in management not sure who is running things now.

Went to waterfall. Was on my way to my friends house and decided to check this place out. Typical run down kB with old ladies smoking outside and eager for you to come in and spend money. It was a slow night around 11 p and I think there was nobody in besides me. Most aggressive one offered three drinks to take care of me. I told them I had to dig out but will return later.

Honest question: what is the appeal of these types of establishments?

My friends are cheap and like to go there to watch the football games and not be constantly bothered by the young girls asking for drinks, etc. They each just buy the bartender a drink and she provides them with decent pupus. One of my friends sees a girl there and gets to play with her in one of the booths while we watch the game. I know -- very boring situation.

But for some of these guys who have no game they can spend some money, buy some drinks and have their dicks rubbed by a halfway decent looking girl. In the real world there is no way he would get that opportunity but in that world he can be a king LOL. Just the thought of the maybe is the appeal LOL.

Time and time again it is stated that going to the AMPs is more advantageous. But we still keep going to these bars. Why? We probably need to go deep into the human mind to figure that one out and leave it up to a psychiatrist. Imo in general people just like to complain, and that is what they enjoy not the kb's itself. Just go to enjoy, drink and eat. Read Mits kb thread #20935.

The answer is it depends what you are looking for, if you are looking for love and thinking you have a good one going, ask yourself would she still be with you when your money run out. If you are looking for a quicky, then you are looking at the wrong place. Most of the drinkers these days just have a few beers and out of the place before they get cleaned out. Smart, no more too many big spenders left.

As stated, "need to go deep into the human mind to figure that one out. " Only thing to be "gained by going to these kind of bars" is gaining weight and losing money. Don't get me wrong get good fun, too, with all the characters, stupidity, and craziness (that's why I go).

Buying drinks for their time. The thing is like you going to Vegas feeding the slot machine, the odds of hitting a jackpot is very slim.
