Lesson learned boys. 7 years of mongering and it was my first tag getting "robbed. A few bills aren't worth it. I see where guys say their packing, that's good in a life or death situation but that will bring real pain down on the one that pulls the trigger. It's better to haul ass.

Not worried about seeming like I ran, and after reading about the one duel between monger and thug where one ended up shot and dead, thot to myself not worth it. I scoped out the place beforehand and saw the dude hanging around outside. When I spotted him for a second time, I knew there was no coincidence but more a setup. But then, I was paranoid to begin with. Every Crown Vic car to me is a police cruiser. If I see one, I don't even engage the meet up. Thanks Swimmer- I'm not happy with the outcome but relieved it wasn't worse.

Manager sounded concerned and worried. So he said he decided to call the police. I was already long gone.

As for carrying, I've posted elsewhere that I don't carry into a provider's place as the risk of the firearm getting you into more trouble is greater than the risk of not having a firearm in this situation. What we do is dangerous, but we are more likely to get arrested and having the gun increase the charges than having a thug murder us. A gun might prevent a robbery, but it invites a lot of problems that, IMO, isn't worth maybe holding onto a hundred bucks.
