Just IMO, but it seems like the KLVBs like show off by spending more than most, fueled by ego and the need for attention (just like their counterparts, the KBGs). Dey both going down soon and hard, anyway, given their undesirable reputations and past track records.

In the meantime, just good for go KB to drink, no get bothered, eat, enjoy the shows, and stay out of the dramas. Let the sharks eat themselves.

Now days, the customers are just sitting on the bars and buying the bartender a drink or two IF they provide some good pupus. Fair is fair so if you eat their food, at least buy the bartenders a drink or two. Forgot to mention that these days, I do not need a hostess to sit next to me to keep me company and keep buying her drinks.

Dey no need kiss my okole, just extend the service first by doing their job (offering timely beer delivery (with the bottle cap off) and pupu services); not ass-backwards. If you accept their services, then leave tip; dey working in the service (tipping) industry and if you no like or no can spend money, stay home. If you remain in one shit KB with unko KBGs, that means you approve of the place and their behavior; no complain, just leave and no go back.

I don't blame them because the castles are protected and supplied with all the goods and services beyond what is needed (and deserved) by LVBs and some regular customers, never to be appreciated. Like defeat the enemy, take their castles, and win the war without fighting and bloodshed? Simple. Just cut off the water, food, and supplies to the castles (NEON). Everybody inside the castles going get weak, thirsty, and starve no matter how royal they think they are. Then burn them down, no prisoners (because defectors always going defect). That's war, LOL.

Look contrary to what most people believe. Places like this are subject to the "Butterfly Effect". The reason why Korean Bars and there were up to 3,000 street walkers in Waikiki on any given night was because back in the mid 1980's the Japanese stock market boomed. The yen soared the against the dollar and before the US government could react average Japanese were walking into Waikiki with "gangster rolls" of American cash.

But now that all gone, the boom turn into a bust, and then the America stock market crash 2000. Most people of "Generation X" (born 1961 to 1981) lost all their equity in the 2000 crash, and only now recovering. So bottom line no one has money except the Chinese and they go to Thailand. Now they have beer bars and with Thai girl or (ladyboys) trying to get you to buy them drinks. But even that is slowing down most place are starting lose a lot of money and most place are used to launder illegal money for Iranians or North Koreans.

So bottom line we are head for a depression if we aren't in one already.

Set a spending limit is the best way to go, and be firm with it. Many times some of my drinking buddies give in and spend way over the limit. Spend a lot does not guarantee anything, be smart with it.

.[/QUOTE]It was funny as hell, when I went to a Korean bar and already came back from a massage parlor after spending the usual two benjamine. I stepped into that KB and took out $100 from the ATM which was next to the bar so the bartendar and KBG could see.

Little did they know that I set a withdrawal limit of $300 on that card, so when I ran out of that Benjamin, the KBG said "go ATM", so gave her the card and watched how she tried in vain to get money out which was rejected each time. Was funny as hell, you could see the greed in her eyes when she got my card. She concluded that maybe the ATM had a bad connection, so split, although I had several more Benjamines in my pocket. Ha ha.

Anyone has any reports on new year eve night? Hope it is good news cause 2020 is going to be a little down year for KBs. The rail construction is coming to town finally. Wow HPD setting up road block every where, be careful!

My friends are now starting to out to Pearl Kai, Aiea, and Pearl City to check out these bars. Hope it gets better in the years to come.

Seems the younger generations are more accustomed to enclosed type of partying. Of course like prostitution, bars will never truly go away. But the amount of choices will continue dwindle down.

These bars have older ladies working there and are strictly legit (I think). We go there to watch the football games and not to play around with the ladies. They serve pretty good pupus, etc. In Pearl Kai, Bonita is the place to go if you prefer better looking ladies who play a little. It is a fun place with good pupus for watching football. If you want backroom action with the older ladies, then Waterfall in Kalihi (near Meg; s Drive-In) is the place to get your fill (Hopefully, I did not violate any of the posting guidelines.
