NB Cleansing
Been going there (NB) but no more. Go elsewhere mo' better.
Additionally, get bugs flying around the inside of NB (gnats? thrips?) with some customers complaining about bites. The bites could be from pet fleas catching a ride from home and finding new hosts.
NB's days are numbered once football season ends, more KBs open, Christmas starts, tax season begins, from the chaos you describe, and what I also witness (too numerous and petty to list). The beautiful part is that NB is on its way to implode, hopefully leaving the good ones.

Yeah, that is her I am talking about. Well described "skinny legs".
Ashley opening does not warrant any excitement. All we are going to see same old same old BGs flowing around.
We are not going to see any new faces for sure. Major INS crack down is the ine of the reasons. Mainland pipeline has dried up thank to there is no money pot anymore here.
That's Nina / Lina; veteran EG KBG / bartender, Green Tee, Exclusive, Hot Spot, etc. If that's her, used to have a buffant hairdo, drinks tequila, jutting lower lip, big top, chicken legs.
Ashley opening scheduled for tomorrow. We need more KB choices in order to keep the arrogant KBGs in check, especially at NBusiness (KBGs there are out-of-control).
Lina at NB
The Lina that Mililanial recommends is Chinese. Mid 30's, cute, well endowed and shapely. Definitely a fun girl. Never sat with her alone, but I briefly met her at Green Tea in Kalihi a while back. She had somehow invited herself into one of the private rooms and quickly became the life of the party. Even flashed her tits. Much to the consternation of the Korean BGs who were in the room with us and chased her out. I haven't been to NB lately, but based on reviews I can only imagine the ruckus she must be instigating there. . .
GG.

Oh that Lina. Met her long time ago at 74 in town. Be careful with her, she will bring her so call Chinese sisters for drinks. They will dig out to another table if no buy. Many KBGs do not like her style. Maybe that is why she is hopping. Around bar to bar.

Especially hanging on the walls, the beams (including the ones above the bar counters) and anywhere with standing liquids. People complain they stay in the bathroom too. Watch your drinks, sushi and shoyu bottles and maybe bring one electric fly swatter if you goin' eat there unless you trying fo' get mo' protein in your diet.

UH Football
Any of the Kapiolani KB's will be open Saturday for the Hawaii vs. UNLV Football game? TIA for 411.
What about the Kapiolani area bars?
Not sure what time the pillow princess wake up and value an early crowd. Town bars too expensive for me.

Ashley Place
Rumored opening on November 11 at former spot, Sheridan Street. Defunct Twilight was supposed to open at this venue, October 25-26, but you know how that goes (anything can happen).
Personally can't see the reasoning (going forward) for this move given the current KB climate, but welcome the addition of another place to go due to continuing poor attitude and service of existing Kapiolani KBs / KBGs. Football season, machine players, and LVBs no last forever (and the smart play is to open one local style bar, like Billion Pocha).
Is it open.
Alohaoe.

Leaving NB Behind
Is it open. Alohaoe.
KB Ashley's is open; 1230-1330 hrs. (or thereabouts). Ex-Camelot bartender Shawna opens a little earlier (noon) from late weekdays up to Saturday; younger KBG opens it the rest of the week from Sunday. If you like earlier (1030-1100 hrs.) on Sat. / Sun. , get Exclusive (local style, Tue. And Thu. , from 1500-1530 hrs.).
Both KBs not arrogant like NB. Ashley's no more PPV yet.

Ashley's was very hot due to trouble with the air-conditioning and The Wave had all of the pool table open. No one was playing there, but heard that the later crowd will play pool. Will be trying to go to Aiea or Pearl City on Saturday to watch UH game and then go for a massage later.

Changing Landscape
Visited both places and is was very slow. Not too many customers in the early part of the week. Will be trying to go to Aiea or Pearl City on Saturday to watch UH game and then go for a massage later.
I think a few dayshift guys (since KB closures) are looking for new spots; finding and settling on a new KB may take awhile, especially in the Kapiolani area (due to the amount of day drinkers and dwindling KBs). Even the early shift KBGs are confused while searching for a new, different, and compatible KB. KB daytime customers have it a little easier because we get to broaden our horizons and go shopping; usually going be the place where the usual, familiar gang stay hang around.
Ashley's going get interior (odors, bathroom, a / c, etc.) and exterior issues due to months of not being operational; more better give it one month to settle. In the meantime, go exploring and pick the best one for the time being. One local style place OK (this going be the trend), too. Anyway, I hope the displaced guys find their new KBs and realize that get other places to go and things to do, like getting one massage.

Town KBs are dead. I dropped in at NB one week night around 7. I swear I did not see a working BG on the floor there, no one at the booth. Only 2 groups of 2 Chinese drinkers at the bar counter. So I left and checked out Ashley. Parking lot almost empty. Saw 3 cars, I did not even bother to go inside.
