Funny thing is I like that about Katie. A lot of women you meet just tell you what you want to hear and smile all the time during a GFE date. I want to hear her ideas what she likes and dislikes the conversation between us was what made the date the best it could be. Thought I would celebrate my senior member status and take a break from the usual. Noon time at Joan's house was great. Nice tranquil massage, and a great dessert. She is a real sweatheart. Finally, one day Michelle came clean with me after another no-show. She told me that even though I was a friend, I was still just a John to her. What I'm saying here is to give the girls a second chance. You have no idea what kind of lives these girls lead and what can transpire in a provider's life in just half an hour.

One of the worst mistakes I ever made in mongering was not giving a second chance to a particular girl. I had a spectacular first dream with a girl that was hot as hell. She ran a superb special and I took advantage of it. A couple of months later, she ran another special and I booked with her. She strung me along the whole night. Then, she finally agreed to a time and off I went. She called me two blocks from her place to cancel yet again. She also told me why: she had booked with a more lucrative client. I was furious as several SM's can attest to after I sent them PM's. I never called her again even though she was a top ten dream for me. I let my frustration, anger and pride cheat me out of dreaming with the hottest lil gal for the best gift that this town had to offer. All this because I was blown off for one single night. I could've seen her the next night for the same gift. She'd have probably kept the dream and rocked my world, but I didn't call. Big mistake.

We all know that I seem to get great performances out of the unreliable ones. If I didn't give some of these girls' second or even third chances, I would've missed out on some of the greatest dreams that I've ever had. My. 02.

Part of the gal's role is to assess customer value and deliver it. While I appreciate that the women may have some unique circumstances, that does not excuse all behavior. Just like you suggest we see their perspective, they should walk a mile in my Allen Edmonds to gain my viewpoint. I need safety and fun. But I also need consistency and respect for my time. Izzy (see? I miss her already). Always answers, or sends automated email reply that she is out. Very clearly states no texting. Always spot on for time. Great personality, doesn't let her personal drama (we all have some) affect work. Or else, she doesn't have office hours that week. We get along well, and know a good deal about each other personally. So we are friends, but in a business sense. We don't hang out elsewhere, but we have mutual trust and respect. There are plenty of other gals on this board with whom I have similar relationships. Just like I do with my pool guy, yard guy and with my clients at work. Ok, not "just like" but you know what I mean.

Reyna the newbie. No consistent pattern of response. Strings guys along regularly (see multiple posts). When criticized, she flames the guys (ha!) and sends nasty PMs. She is not someone for me. There are plenty of nice women who have a better understanding of customer value. She is certainly attractive but her lack of respect for customers' time and expectations is not there. I would rather pay more for a reliable business relation than get regular disappointments. I will only live so long, why not enjoy the ride, so to speak.

BTW, cost is not usually a factor. Someone smarter than I can debate whether this represents price inelasticity. You don't see me on the SW board because of two things: safety and time.
