Massage Parlor Reports

I want to have hope that we get another decent MP in Tampa Bay. But I have to say that except for BT, Aloha and PT the whole Tampa Bay AMP scene is pretty shitty. And FT/TG and 73rd are the only aromatherapy places people seem to think are worth going to.

In Pinellas County, Spring Spa has gone downhill since Yung left, OK Spa has gone downhill since Tammy lost interest and started going through the motions. The other places (Aloha Spa on 5th Street) are non factors and our latest new find Hot Stone Spa has girls who smell like rotted fish so what are we to do?

In Tampa all of the spas have either become too pricey (Yokohama, Magic Spa) or now have very limited menus (Gold Spa, Oxygen, Nagoya on Kennedy) or just plain suck (Osaka, J Spa, Kennedy Spa) or almost no menu (Serenity Spa).

The Pasco County AMPs Miyaka, Kimura, Q Spa all have really old Korean grandmas working there and really bad reviews. Suki Spa has mixed reviews and might be worth an update. I just TOFTT at the only formerly decent spa in Pasco - Asian Relaxation (used to be known as Ocean Spa). It is now terrible - see my new re-review in the Hudson/Pasco/Hernando thread. And don't even get me started on the non-asian places in Pasco /Hernando with skanks like the funky Trailer with Holiday lights (Paradise Sun Spa?) on New York Avenue and 19 which is a huge rip off.

I want to think King Spa will be good but I really can't get my hopes up based on the Tampa Bay track record. But we can always hope.

It's sad that there was once a time when Osaka may well have been the best AMP in the country, not just Tampa Bay.

Maybe wrong thread but if you are in Pinellas going to AMPS and head over the border on 19 you will encounter these so thought I'd make a slight exception to link you to my original review.

Walked in to Kimura, Mikayo and Q Spa and couldn't bring myself to stay and play with the Korean grannies there left. Went to Asian Relaxation where the experience was actually worse than foul smelling Hot Stone Spa. At Hot Stone the smell and the hygiene was very bad (maybe they could not smell it themselves over the kimchee?) but at least they tried to make me happy.

Asian Relaxation (formerly Ocean Spa) used to be the only decent Pasco Spa. It is now a total rip off. See the Tampa Hudson/Pasco/Hernando thread for more details in my review summary for the Pasco AMPS.

I stopped by at Spring Spa last week just to check it out, & ended up getting a basic HE. Don't know how good the experience could have been since I went in without enough cash to expect anything more than a massage. I'm planning to go back since the the girl that took care of me left me wanting to go back for some FS action. And her name was Jung.

Dam CB you have had a real bad string of bad luck as of late. Have you tried something new off BP that look legit but really offers more than the ad tells?

If you are referring to the BP that spills oil and kills fishies, then yes I think I discovered the AMP where those fishies washed up. If you are referring to the BP that lists ladies I haven't found too much out there but would like to find a couple of good leads. But you are right my luck sure ain't been too good lately.

Just checked again; this place is definitely not open yet and it's behind a Car Quest, not NAPA.

This has been the only downside for me from my visits at BT. I realize its not really their fault. From what I can tell they usually don't stay quite busy enough to keep more than one provider there at a time. So when more than one customer comes in they have to do some scrambling. This has happened during a few of my visits. Aside from a few rushed sessions (which would usually be a deal breaker for me) the service has always been good. Mama San is a sweatheart and my sessions with Tina(I love the kneeling slide down the back as well), and Jenny have always been good. If I could just get there when June is in the rotation. She is the only one I seem to keep missing.

What is the latest on this place? It is very convenient for me, but I have not tried in a long time due to the total lack of reports. Don't really want to TOFFT, but if noone else does.......

Are you talking about the Aloha on 5th Ave N? If so its always been the same old Asian Lady!

I can't think of anything on 5th street that is called Aloha.

Aloha Spa One (on 5th st) is a rip-off. Avoid at all costs.

Saw Tamy from OK. Looking good as always.

Good massage with tender prostate attention.

Bt and PT are good but I am OK with Tamy.

I also TOFTT... the ad has been running daily, and I was in the mood to search.

The massage was the best I have ever had. WOW.

But that was it. Damn shame, really.

I have been about 4 times now, and still no dice. But that is fine for me, because the massage is the best I have had. If I had a bad massage I would be upset for sure.

There are some strange things about this place I would note compared to a legit massage parlor. These things would light up on my AMP Radar. Maybe this is just typical of a Chinese massage parlor, and I just don't know any better.

1.) They are open until 11PM.
2.) Their daily craigslist ads shows a picture of a young sexy asian.
3.) Draping is not require, and was not even offered on my last visit.
4.) Dark tinted windows, every legit spa I have seen the lobby is visible through the windows into the lobby.
5.) They do out-call for hotels only.
6.) I have never seen a female client come into the spa, but every time I see one of you johns, and last time 3 rooms all men. (You can hear everything in every room in this place since the rooms have open ceilings.)

Has anyone made a specific request for a HE at this place, and what was the reaction? I would have asked specifically but I didn't want to ruin my awesome massage at the time and risk stepping that boundary.
