Next to me was a Korean guy maybe 30 yrs old talking to the Korean bartender. Heard her say to this guy, "I won't push drinks if you come meet my friends this coming weekend". So yeah, maybe the KB mamas think its cool to run a business with the same racial Koreans, who do not spend money like non-Koreans and if they do allow non-Koreans, they should stop the KBG from pushing ridiculus $40 drinks. I tell the KBG once she mentions it, to pay it yourself and walk out never to go there again. Stupid business will fail real quick when mama san looks at her balance sheet.

Have been sober and stayed away from KBs for over a month, my wallet is as heavy as ever been. Took a ride in town, first stop Spotlite, slow, same girls, nothing excited to report. 904, Ruby still there, she gained a few pound, heard she has a BF now, she was kind of busy. Starlite parking lot looks emptied, is that place still open? Vegas is as slow as ever been, their popular bartender Hana said bye bye to KB and gotten married. Guess how long that will last? She loves to drink and marry life and drinking don't mix. Still trying to get the Fox to marry me, but she said she likes to enjoy life before she settled down, that's fine with me as long as I get my bazooka fired once in a while.

Went to town after. Only bar with little action is NB. But they still got a long way to catch up to once popular EG. Ashley only old farts there. Grandma near 60's trying to be 40's trying to make a living, sad case! Korean nationals taking over Camelot, sometimes I wish I can understand Korean so I know if they are talking stink about me.

Fourth of July is around the corner. Let's see if it will boost up the kbs business a little, they sure needs help!

This will be my last weekend report for now since my schedule will be changing. Didn't have much time so I just headed straight to NB. It's nice to see Makaloa street parking more crowded now since NB opened. Not like the old days when we had to keep circling till a stall opened up but at least better than the past few months where area seemed like ghost town. Anyway, NB fairly steady, not as busy like the past couple weeks but lot of off booths and barstools occupied. I've noticed a few different girls. If they can hold steady like this for weekends, then I'd say it's a success. I don't mean to sound biased on this place or Mimi mama but reality is this place really the only one that resembles the good ole days. Just sucks can't hop from one place to another and have equal or better feelings. Competition is going to be key and as of now it's pretty much just NB vs everyone else. I would hope Ellie mama has learned a few things since she now somewhat a vet and try be ambitious to get people back to her place. Perhaps anyone who still keeps in contact with Patty and Maya mama, convince them to make one more run in the bar scene. Anyway, NB is pretty much what I expected on the weekends. Now I'll get to see how the weekdays are. I'm expecting slow, question is how slow. Although because of Independence Day, I expect Wednesday will be on the busier side. Probably not Thursday since majority will be busy with other events.

That way she rips off both the customer, by having a free pass $20 for no drink and the bar losing out on their $5. I don't trust anyone of those KBG.

Anybody got info on where the easy play is on the west side? I mostly Go Blossoms and Hot Ash, got regulars I like share, but lookin for new ones.

Typically the $40 drinks will be for certain hard liquors or wines, as those cost close to $10 range and up for us. But for the most part the deal is the bar just collects the cost of the drink and the girl keeps the rest. The only thing the bar will partake in is handing out fake drinks at the girls request. Of course there's probably some places that have different business practices but that is the general procedure. Mama should be looking out for us and pushing girls not to do such things. But all in all you have the power to allow the girl to rip you off or not. Always going have some moron who got no balls to decline and allow themselves to get ripped off. This is a big reason we are in this mess, because few years ago youngsters decided to partake in this hobby and would only think with their other head (if they even thought at all). I said this 10+ years ago and I'll say it now, "hostess bars isn't for the weak soul. ".

Right now, heard that they ripping the poor Maui bastids for $50 nekos because they so desperate for KBG yuk gae.

They wonderful actresses (not some, but all). The best thing is that "what goes around... " and bachi usually get them in the end (when and where they deserve it). Can't live with or without dem shibalnyuns (haha). Kbgs are not bad people, they are there trying to make a living, whatever it takes, sometimes they BS a little, bottom line we are the ones keep going back to them, myself included.

You are right about NB already slowing down, no bars these days would be able to keep up like the good old days. $20- $40 drinks are just too expansive especially when you are on a fix income.

I'll start:

1. I have not had a truly good and memorable experience with a KBG; they will use every tactic in the book to survive; they use me, I use them; been going KBs since 1970 and still planning to continue going to classes.
2. This has nothing to do with who the bad person is in this particular situation; of course both sides (99%, for the sake of argument) are using tactics to gain any advantage to "come out ahead," in preservation of the Id.

For me, the thrill is gone for the moment but not yet buried. Take it easy and see you at NewB before the end of the week.

If those KBG try to make you pay $40 a drink, of which she will tell the bartender its a $20 drink that takes the bar cut of $5, then she pockets the $15 and also that free $20, cheating out the bar cut. Go tell the mama and she'll straighten out that KBG for trying to cheat both the customer and the bar.

These KBG are greedy and would do that to you and the mama who employs them.

I guess I've been lucky or thinking with the big head and not the small one. You're right though the thrill is gone.
