Times are tough though, so I could see a bold suggestion (paired with reasonably attractiveness (or maybe a disarming sort of attitude) on the guy's part) working maybe 10% of the time.

However, in the other 90% you might get sneered at, booted from the restaurant, or in some cases the police called to trespass you or if they think it's some human trafficking ploy. I personally don't think I'd have the confidence to ask a random non-SWer that question. Hell, I'd probably feel awkward asking them out for a date given the fact they're actively working and are expected to be polite or even a little flirty with single male customers.

Last night after sitting out freezing all day hunting I decided to hit up a strip club to find someone to warm me up. I started closer to home at Cracker Jaxx in Jackson and that was a flop, three girls working and a small customer crowd. All three girls did their stage set and then just went back to sitting together at the bar. So I headed east. I stopped at H8 first. My plan was to see what I could find and if nothing move to SC. If she says ok and then demands payment in VIP get up and walk out. Most are not smart enough to develop repeat business so one and done is what they do. You can show her the money but it gets put away until she does her part.

Yes, you're absolutely right never pay up front. In my experience, when you pay ahead of time, the service usually isn't as good, and situations like the ones you described are far more likely to happen.

While I don't go to BTs or LS, I can say with confidence that you were definitely taken advantage of. Dancers can quote any price they want, and if you don't know the going rates, feel uncomfortable making a reasonable counteroffer, or simply agree to whatever they say, you're putting yourself in a bad position. You have to be willing to walk away. At the very least, most dancers will circle back later with a better offer. If not, there are plenty of others who will happily make a fair deal and take your money. And if none of the dancers in the club are willing to negotiate within the range you're prepared to spend, leave. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of clubs around here where you can get what you want without being overcharged or treated poorly.

I'm honestly shocked that a dancer tried to upsell you for different positions. In more than 20 years going to the clubs, I've NEVER heard of anything like that before. You're right to call out those dancers for their tactics and bad service. This is exactly why having knowledge from the board before going into these situations is so important. If you'd known what they were like ahead of time, would you have gone back with them? They took advantage of you and got top dollar out of you. How likely are you to go back with them now? Even at half the price, knowing what you know about their service, would you really take that chance again and risk the same disappointing experience?

You were not taken at BT's or LS, as that is the standard stripper rates at those two clubs and 80% of the dancers will not budge from that price, they have formed a loosely run union so to say, also even at those high rates you will likely not get anywhere near a porn star / girlfriend experience at either of those two clubs from the high dollar girls.

The secret is to find the 20% who have enough wisdom to realize that $150-200 is good money for 10-12 minutes of gratifying VIP time and the way to find these girls is to just spend time with them, and listen to them, if they want a drink say sure as long as it is $12 normal drink, the scammers want to order premium drinks, with experience one can learn an awful lot about how a VIP session will be just by listening to a dancer talk about herself and reveal her life and needs, I never take one back who is pushy or brags about how great she is, always ask a stripper about their do's and don'ts up front , unless you are rich and money is no objection and even if you are i suggest to never go for the hottest young ones at LS or BT's as they all have GPS and they are mechanical

I myself and every guy has their own "type" and that is what makes the club scene so great, the strippers come in all shapes and sizes and I am sometimes dumbfounded but also very thankful that not every guy in the place is interested in the same ones I am attracted to.

If you hang out at the bar there will often times be ladies there. They are typically the female version of me. In there 40 and 50's, carrying a few a extra pounds and a lot of life experiences. I am decent looking guy, I am good with conversation, and if you are polite with them for many of those ladies it has been years since a guy shows interest in them. If you ask a couple questions, listen and respond thoughtfully. Most females love to talk about themselves. Most females that age haven't been flirted with in a long time and are usually eager to jump into bed. My experience has been most of the time they invite me to their place or ask to come back to mine. There is only one reason they do this, and it is to have sex. On my scale you looking at mostly 4's and 5's with an occasional 6. But then you aren't paying her cash.

I frequently have performance problems with these girls especially after a couple drinks that I never seem to have with 20 year old girls.

If you are on a budget and looking for girls your own age, give it a try, it is reasonably easy for me.

Don't beat yourself up, every guy on this board has made plenty of mistake no different than you.

I go to BTs often and it is possible to do better than $300 but you are not really getting taken advantage of on price. I have paid those same rates. You can't compare with the H8 and bogarts pricing.

Try building more chemistry. Talk to the girls and get to like her and convince her she likes you. Or at least she likes you better than the other guys who come into the club. Ask her a question and remember the answer like what is her favorite color. Many guys don't pay attention to women when they talk. Most women find it sexy if a guy remembers what she tells him.

When you negotiate, include things like this in your negotiation.

I want to go to the VIP with a passionate sensual girl.

I don't want to rush, for the session to be a success for me, I need let my arousal build so I can successfully finish. I am counting on you to seduce me.

I plan to come back in 2 days, and I am really looking for a girl to be my regular, who I can enjoy seeing more than once.

Finally, as a newbie, although I also do this as on oldbie. If I haven't been in for a while and there are many new girls, I watch an entire rotation tipping the girls I find attractive. I choose a table where I can observe the VIP and I note the girls who go into the VIP. If a girl goes multiple times she is likely either a good performer or a new girl.

The best girls have already built a stable of regulars so that girl might have a few guys she knows are coming in to see her that night. So the best girls don't run over to some newbie they don't know who might be a negative experience. You will have to chase her to get her attention. She will always take additional money, but she is not desperate for it.

The best girls usually go to the VIP early in the night and have made their money so they are not desperate in the last hour of the night.

If a girl hasn't gone all night she is usually looking for whales to spend $500 on her, or she is known bad time by the regulars and she ends up compromising and doing a bad session in the final hour to cover her tip out.

Keep trying it only takes chemistry with one good girl. When you find a good one, tell her you have had bad experiences with other girl and was thinking of giving up on the club and ask her if she can introduce you to other girls who won't cheat you that want to offer services for the same price you pay her.

You're smart enough realize that it's in your best interest to increase your knowledge, rather than arrogantly "flying blind". I think that this fact is under appreciated (especially for Newbies, who may be TOO friendly, nice, agreeable). Most guys can't avoid it (myself included). Our best defense is to know it exists, accept it, and be prepared to counter it with our own "male wisdom". Unfortunately, it takes experience to gain that wisdom, there's no master-level tutoring for it. Each success and failure adds to that wisdom whether you realize it or not.

So the moral of the story is, "Keep trying to get laid. It builds wisdom" LOL.

Keep in mind that everyone is different. What works GREAT for one guy might be the worst approach for another. YOU need to find your own "sweet spot" in dealing with these girls, because they'll see right through you if you're being a "phoney". That said, there's nothing wrong with changing / improving who you are.

Again, it takes more experience, . . ahem. . . Getting laid. . . To determine that sweet spot. . . and adjusting as appropriate.
