I'm trying not to think that it's a copycat business model of Evergreen and Splash in order to create a third. Anyway, the spot is currently popular with most because of its novelty in the area; heard that the parking lot is deceptively ample because only a few stalls are designated 'free' parking for New Business (pay to park for other stalls). Good location at the Ewa-side, Kapiolani / Sheridan / Makaloa horn.

Will not go there until he first month after the place has played itself out.

To my understanding ever since EG closed, lot of girls have been waiting for her to open a new bigger place. Only a handful were able to make it with her to Camelot and even less to Ashley. Now that it's finally here it'll be interesting how many will pop up again. As far as the parking goes, valet was available, but street parking was also easy as usual. But I guess that's just a matter of luck on the time and day you go. I imagine valet duty will only be available on the weekends.

With the dearth of KBs, I wonder what will fill the gap? I like the idea of the Vietnamese coffee shop model, but it has to be done right. We had one in downtown, but it fronted for a gaming establishment. With gaming establishments, come the unsavory types that will cause problems. Those bikini coffee trucks were pretty cool in their day, but I think we are ready for some bikini coffee shops in Honolulu.

You are right about the death of KBs. I don't think there is any way to rejuvenate it. With all these talks about this new bar " NB". So I decided to go check it out myself one evening. 5 guys was drinking at the bar. No one was at the booth. The only working girl there was the bartender. Asked her when is the girls coming in? She replied later. Let me tell you what, the most exciting thing I have notice was, they have a 250 gallons salt water tank with beautiful fishes in there to prevent me falling asleep. After couple of drinks, I was so bored I decided to check out Ashley. Grandma Leeann came hustle me for a drink. I refused it knowing her BS. Two other older women was also there. That place reminded me a senior retirement home.

Be careful with the parking situation at NB. The designated parking stalls are only for NB patrons. All other cars will be towed away according to the big sign posted at the main entrance.

The bar industry period is kind of dying. Nightclubs are almost fading away with strip clubs following right behind. The V coffee shop craze in Cali isn't like what it use to be. It's really kind of amazing they're still alive because it really slowed down last I saw almost 4 years ago.

They'll have to do something different. Maybe a KB with live girls in bikinis or lingerie dancing every half hour or so on a couple of small stages could pull in customers. Maybe charge a 2 drink door entry fee. And hire KBGs that are not ROBs.

According to one poster here that big spenders are all dead. NBA season just pau. Football season no start until August. It is going to be long months ahead for the KBs. Cheap Charlie still around. But KBGs no approach them cause the girls rather playing with the phone than wasting their time on them.

Haha, understand KBs are having hard times, but ass job at KBs are to an extreme and almost unhearded of. Good laugh is okay since there is nothing excited to report these days.

Place was happening for a couple months, but eventually just turned out to be a fad. I personally thought being relatively far from the strip at the time is what hurt it. Of course too a place catering to the immature and over mature crowd was also not appreciated by lot of people.
