I guess you could say I'm old school or maybe even a Dinosaur but is contacts through cellphones and social media now the norm? I still believe in emails only because I don't want a strange provider to have my cell until we've met at least once and hobby phones / burner phones can get expensive over time with getting a new phone and minutes. Is it better or worse using your phone? Curious.

You can get a free burner number through google voice. I txt the girls exclusively through that. Google fucked up the interface a few mos ago and it looks like crap now, but the old version still works here:

You can also make calls with that number, though you have to be mildly techy to make it work.
