Strip Club Reports

Was in Vegas for a couple of nights recently, thought I'd write up a report on the mostly lamentable scene in the strip clubs I visited.

First night went to Cheetas, LD, then SR. Cheetas absolutely blew chunks. There were only a few girls there and they were all old and fat. I had a nice conversation with a Latina that was old enough to be my grandma. But seriously, I don't go to clubs to get a LD from a 45 year old. About the only good thing I can say is that the beer was fairly priced.

LD- now I have been to LDs more than any other club. I like the stage shows, which are almost nonexistent these days at most LV clubs. Also I like not getting hassled to buy drinks. In the last 2 years I've found LDs to be an awful place to get lap dances and a hit or miss place for stage shows. Used to be that you could find really hot 18-20 yr olds to give rockin' high mileage dances for $20 a song here. I haven't been able to find that for a long time. All girls, particularly the hotties are seriously on the hustle and want 30,40 or VIP only for dances. If you can get them to go 20, then they say no touching. Pretty funny when they have all those signs up saying if you are asked to pay more than 20 see management. Anyway there were several 7's and 8's in the club and pretty good stage shows but the hustle drove me away from buying dances.

SR. This was the only place I found a solid experience, like those I used to find 3-5 years ago in Vegas. Lots of good looking girls working. Hustle was strong but not obnoxious. With a little careful choosing I found great dances with hotties for 20 a pop. In particular I hooked up with a chick from eastern Russia. She had dyed dark hair and cute freckles all over her arms and shoulders. Fake tits, but well done. Skinny but baby got back. She gave me some of the best dances I've ever had. Gets real close and gives you the hottest most intense looks. No hustle for tips or dishonesty on number of dances. Sorry no name but she comes up from LA on weekends so look for her on Fri. To sun. Without doing anything illegal she almost got me off, which is really rare in a LD context for me.

Next day hit LD, Olympic Garden, Sapphire and SR. Bad day all around with SR the best again. Same general experience at LDs. Had a long conversation with a cute girl, a 7 at the most. She told me 40 to touch. I laughed and told her how I could go down the road and get a full contact dance for 20. We had a good friendly conversation though and she agreed to give me some dances for 20. They were ok, really she lacked experience and was a little reserved / embarrassed as the young girls at LDs often are.

OG was the most pathetic of all. I think there were literally 2 girls there and they were busy with a big group of guys. Everybody else sat staring at an empty stage. What a shame. OG used to be the best of the best.

Sapphire had the hottest babes but was the worst experience. Hustle factor to the extreme. The babes were literally lined up past the cash register waiting to grab guys as they came in. As I walked up they literally jostled each other to grab my arm. The winner was a super hot little Latina. Patricia from Cuba. The fact that she won the jostle should have tipped me to her personality. I tried to chat her up in Spanish and be friendly but really couldn't break through the ice / hustle factor. She is hitting me up for drinks and VIP the whole time. She is so hot though and I love getting talked to in Spanish so I stuck with her and she eventually suckered me into VIP. 15 minutes for 100 plus two drinks. She was hot but gave mediocre dances and definitely didn't go for 15 minutes. Everything about her was fake and hustle oriented, not customer service oriented. Felt like a total dupe and I was. Props to Patricia, she made it to the us from Cuba and is a grade a hustler. I didn't see a single floor dance happening. All in VIP. Don't know if that is a management thing or a collective bargaining arrangement between the hos. Anyway, be prepared to shoo away flies if you go there and make sure you stay tough.

SR was ok, a couple of ok dances but nothing like my sweet Russian beauty from the day before.

Sad that it's so hard to find cute customer service oriented dancers these days in LV.

At LDs the whole issue with "well, it is posted at $20 but touching is $40" has been an everyday thing for years now, no idea why they bother with the signage (and the standard line: "Oh, here at the floor dance you can't touch me; we need to go back and pay more for that" s not even exclusive to LV) Meanwhile at the Rhino they seem to have adopted the business model from the hotels and airlines: [I]"base rate is X, PLUS the following series of mandatory fees: ..."[/I] So that you can still claim to have 3 x $100 for the sake of advertising but everyone ends up putting away $150 or so for that (and how interesting that most businesses end up with very similar base rates and very similar extra fees).

Getting back to the comments on the Palomino, it seems like at least they are consistent about complying with the posted prices for the dances.

Hell it's not even a great place for OTC, every gal at the major clubs who has ever offered meet-you-later had an opening bid that was eyepoppingly extravagant.

I mean no disrespect but I really do believe more than one was over 50 and several above 40. Sure many took care of themselves, but still it is not what one expects when they enter a club. Oh well, time to search for a new club when I visit.

I've been to Glitter Gulch, on different weekends through the years, when a major sporting event was happening (NCAA March Madness, Superbowl). The quality of the ladies surprised me -- younger than described here. I guess they come in to cash in on the tourist rush.

Perhaps the weekend (Friday / Saturday) is better. GGG did have some younger ladies to be sure, but I stand by my observation that their were a couple of dancers that were 50 or over and more than a few 40 or over. I am glad to hear that your experience differed and you enjoyed your time there. I was there once before and will say that the average age of the dancers did seem younger.

Formerly Foxy Girls, they seem to have changed management and are aiming for an upscale urban crowd. I did not go in, but the formerly free entry is now a $20 door fee (no locals discount) and as of next week, valet parking will be mandatory.

Club Platinum is now closing at earlier hours (whatever time they deem the business to be too slow).

Does chick still dance their fellas?

Club Platinum is now closing at earlier hours (whatever time they deem the business to be too slow).[/QUOTE]Neither one of these clubs will (would of) become anything more than a local hangout, geared more towards a steady local clientele; This new policy will kill Foxy's in short order unless they make some major changes; the place was dead with no cover and free self-parking. Club Platinum closing early on slow nights shouldn't change anything.

Foxy's had a couple of dancers good for 'take out' a couple years back, one just wanted to stop for a couple drinks first; the other wanted $$, got $. 50, but alas this was some time ago. They do tend to keep a fairly careful eye on private dances.

Never offered 'out-take' at Platinum, but did get some good stick-shift and FIV action on corner couch.

Over a decade ago I was given the 'ol stick shift treatment at Platinum, but that was when it was call the Tender Trap (showing my age here) and imo it was a much better club then, just in layout and design with the center stage.

Adding the tab in the 3 x100 and engineering a way to enforce the 2 drink minimum does seem to point to that the cut of dances was not being enough.

Where is the best place to go for male strippers for the wife in Las Vegas? I want her to have a great time with LOTS of mileage if you know what I mean.

I usually hit up the COI clubs in Socal--where I mainly post-- but I'll be taking my boy to vegas for his bachelor's party. I want it to be a night he'll never forget. Any suggestions? From what I've been reading, clubs out in Vegas don't seem to compare to the COI ones. I'm hoping I'm wrong--at least a little. Feel free to PM if you need info on COI clubs and want to swap intel.
