Obviously it's safer if someone has reviews, especially if the reviews are credible.

The unsafe group for me refers to possible LE, cheats, bad performers, obvious demons etc. Don't get me wrong I am cautious even with good reviews but atleast with reviews / information I know there is a history and with a known history there tends to be less issues that come up.
