Korean Bar Reports

People not enjoy going to bars anymore. They feel not welcome. There is no one to greet you when you step in to the door, all the girls just sit at a corner playing with their phone. Girls all with poker face, they don't come to you, that just not right you have to go to them. There is no music, no pupus. Football pau, nothing on TV. I have seen a lot of guys just have one drink and get out of there.

Heard the renovation for chill is going take a little longer than expected. As a result Mimi is going send her girls to Ashley next week for the time being.

Really don't know why Mimi would spend money to renovate Chill. Everyone know that lot is on the demo list. Would it worth to do that if the lease is just a short term?

So she's going on vacay and will pop up again somewhere. Soon I hope. I always thought that she was entertaining and gave great service. I especially liked to sit at the bar across from the washbasin (she's an excellent dishwasher). Don't know about no class youngins. But I was there a couple of times the young HPD CRU teams had farewell parties, but I don't think that they were Back Bar customers. I personally hope that she goes back to being a bartender / hostess because she gets so busy as a Mama.

It'll be a race to see who opens up a new place first: Sandra or Jin! Anybody hear anything? Musical chairs continues, but the music hasn't stopped yet. Tho it seems a lot of patrons are complaining about the song selection. . .

Hell I wouldn't even doubt if some were under 21. Was tough because of the area they're in and but at the same time kind of hard to be choosy to make money.

As to when she moves to Chill, only time will tell. Heard ran out of money so the renovation stopped. FWIW.

That place suck no matter who run it. Remember they used to have 3 mamas until one of them ran away with the money. Donna and Kelly tried to hold the place together after, they leased the small bar to locals but they did not lasted long, they folded after a few months. 904 bartender took over the place the bar, she did not lasted long either. Donna and Kelly took it over and they leased the small bar to Sandra. It seem like she did not do that well so she quits. Lots of musical chairs in the place, but it seem like no matter who is running the place, they can't get everyone in there.

Maybe they should hire better bartenders, replace Hana and put her on the floor, cause all she does is want it to drink.

Even my baby honey Fox is fed up over there. She said the place is so slow, she needs to hop on to the neighbor bars to make a few more bucks. If the legendary can't help the place, I would say no one else can.

So the much anticipated move did not happen until a month later.

Why does this one and Ashley's struggle no matter what? Too big and too much rent. Evergreen survived because they were open till 4 basically. K style is another one that's too big and struggles also. The medium to smaller ones do better. Why do you think that humongous bar below Pine Tree is still vacant? It's way too fucking big to make any money. More girls equals more salary also and when it's slow the mamas have to buy their girls some drinks to keep them around. Too many girls is actually bad for the business but guys like it.

Back then people had the convenience on being able to walk from one bar to another conveniently. Business was off the path. Ashley, the mama and name changed many times but that spot has been there forever and they have had their good times. Same goes with chill, although that spot is relatively new. The real problem is the mamas that runs things. Of course too also have to be smart where to open a bar. Vegas's location is just pure bad. Kalihi is tough period, but to also be in a farther isolated spot makes it almost impossible. That place was better off being advertised as 2 bars like before.
