I always have a couple of extras lying around because it's likely that it will happen.

As I mentioned in another thread, I got chlamydia and syphallis from an encounter where the condom broke twice and I was literally exposed for a total of 20 seconds. I didn't think that was possible, but my doctor assured me that was more than enough time to get a variety of things. Of course, the woman I got it from was pure as the driven snow (so I must have given it to her) but I had my three previous partners get tested and they are all clean, so I can only narrow it down to that one encounter where the condom broke twice. For the guys that know we have partners in common, nothing to worry about, they were tested recently and showed me the negative results. In the future, instead of trying to go 50 minutes using the same condom, I'm going to try stopping after about 25 minutes and putting on a new one and see if that stops the issue.
