"Effective January 7, 2059. (HB242 HD1)"
Escorts want their money in an envelope labeled "Gift"; perhaps AMP girls may follow suit since the bill uses words like 'fee' and 'payment'.

On one side we've got cops who want things like this to remain illegal so they can bust people they can't get for real crimes, or so they pad their arrest quota, or so they can advantage of the girls.
On another side we have church-going soccer moms who want to force everyone to adhere to their beliefs about sexual "morality."
On the third side we have pimps who want it to remain illegal so they can keep prices jacked up and control the girls through threats.
And in the middle are guys who just want to get laid without it being a time-consuming hassle, and girls who want to get paid for their time and talents. There is zero difference between this and any other kind of personal service, but for some reason the moment you mention the "S" word everybody just loses their minds. What's even more mind-boggling to me is that if you do it on film it's suddenly perfectly legal again.
I think that bill already passed as it is listed under the list of "Law Enforcement" category. And you're right about cops abusing their power in order to "reap the benefits" for free action on the side!
The other religious "soccer" moms who are basically brain-washed and probably dead fishes when fcked are more interested in keeping that ball and chain around their spouses ankles, because the minute he realizes what is missing in the AMPs, he'll be down there in a heart beat!
These politicians are morally corrupt and hypercrites for passing this bill, they don't want to take the political fall out, yet engage in these activities on the sly. You know I've seen the governor at some luncheon with his young attractive white female "administrator" am quite sure he was tapping her in addition to her dictation skills.
So what happens when some monger gets busted at the AMPs, he goes to jail with a 3rd degree felony, but when some politician gets caught with his pants down, he avoids this charge and gets re-elected?

I don't mean the MILF kind unfortunately. But Johnny14 hit the nail on the head. That specific type of American woman has a long history of trying to control their husbands through "blue laws." Ever wonder why barber shops have to be closed on Sundays in some states? That's because 100 years ago guys would go there to hang out and avoid church. It's not like they had cable TV back then, so barbershops, pool halls, and bars (and brothels) were the only entertainment choices. The only reason women fought for the right to vote was to outlaw alcohol (which they then believed was the sole reason men weren't "obedient") and we know how well that worked.
But even so, it doesn't have to be this way. All we have to do is not vote for the hypocrites. I never vote for someone with a religiously conservative agenda.
With so many pressing problems, WAY MORE important than the sex industry, why waste tax $ on our hobby? Imo, its to divert attention away from their stupidity of not being able to tackle the real problems like Jobs, taxes, heathcare. Education. Infrastructure, crime. Environment. Drugs homeless etc, etc. Come election time they going to say they made our streets and community better, LOL Not ONE of the important problems will get better but same fools going to get reelected.

I think the people with the organized agenda to push for laws to bust Johns as felons are not from the conservative, traditional family, soccer mom, religious right. They are from the radical Left. They are militant, radical, fanatical and extremist feminists who are obsessed with "rescuing" all women from trafficking, slavery and coercion, if those things happened to come into play. But if they did not, no problem. They would still try to stop all forms of prostitution in the state because all forms of paid sex, be they AMPs, hostess bars and strip clubs, are "gateway" to prostitution, if not prostitution itself. And all forms of prostitution, not just street walkers and pimps, have to be eliminated because prostitution in and of itself will lead to trafficking, coercion and slavery. Their logic is inexorable. It has to be because, in their ideological worldview, men oppress women, and women have to be rescued and freed.
I think some rank and file supporters may be coming from conservative and religious angles. But the leaders and organizers are from the radical Left. In Hawaii, it is Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery.
Such is life!
Laws are created, in large part, to maintain that everybody gets paid when you are arrested and cited. Police, bailers, prosecutors, lawyers, judges, counselors, hearing officers, clerks (you get the drift), etc, want to get paid.
Crimes (and defense of same) are sources of revenue for the city, state, nation. If you truly hate cops, judges, lawyers, etc, then don't commit crimes; nobody gets paid in the system and they'll just be a bunch of broke-ass nothings.
