She has endured viscious mud slinging, slow times while we made our rounds to the flavors of the month, and the general perils of being a provider. All with professionalism and dare I say class.
So I leave you with this admonition, appreciate what we have while we have it, for mark my words, someday when you least expect it (Hopefully not to soon) Alexis to will be gone and somehow just like her stay with us has been long and pleasurable, her absence will most likely be permanent and painful!

Alright, I'm not sure whether this belongs here, or where it might belong, but:
Knox County allows ballot initiatives to be put up for votes during the normal election cycle, so long as they receive sufficient signatures. To the best of my understanding, they require about 30% of the number of voters in the last mayoral election.
An aggressive effort to put a legalization / regulation / taxation of prostitution could probably net sufficient signatures (about 2000).
The benefits, obviously, would be fewer health concerns, and no arrests for what should already be completely legal. There would also likely be a greater range of men and women available to hobbyists. It would probably create and fund some new health department jobs, never mind the number of taxpaying jobs it would create for new providers.
Some of the negatives would be that it would shine a light on an industry that relies on secrecy. It would probably all but abolish streetwalkers. Also, there's no real immediate knowing what it will do to prices. I'm sure there's a long list of other upsides and downsides. Feel free to chime in with your thoughts.

She came in sat next to me and I bought her a beer. We discussed we had never hooked up in the past. You can see her weighing and I figure she decides against. She says she has more shopping and gets up and leaves.
Few minutes later she calls from a nearby dept store and says for me to come do her in the men's room. I leave the bar like a shot.
Complete my mission with her in the mens room. I expect she wants me to take her shopping. Nope freebie. I think she little tired of the same ol. Straight life and just wanted some excitement.
New for me to do something like Billy Bob Thornton did in the dept store in the movie Bad Santa.
Entertaining night. Amusing. And real live freebie. Damn. Thanks Santa.
Prostitution is deemed to be criminal coduct by STATE law.

It's still against the law for liquor stores to be open on Sunday and you can't sell beer or liquor by the drink before a certain time on Sunday and there are still many counties in Tennessee that don't allow alcohol sales period.
I personally campaigned for the lottery because it made all of the sense in the world to me. It's a way to tax stupidity and the money goes to education, but as I said it took 20 years for it to actually happen.
I can't see prostitution in Tennessee being legalized in any of our lifetimes.
Oh and I agree completely on the not doing anything to draw attention thing.
If they can, KPD and KCSO will largely look the other way and many of them pay to play themselves, but not when it's right up in their faces and not when citizens are calling and complaining.

I have one car that needs brakes and tires and another that needs a radiator and isn't driveable at all and so my fun time is going to have to be postponed a bit, but if you still have some cash after Christmas, this is a GREAT time to be looking for a girl who's broke and desperate.
