You are a huge target for rip off and the quality of life isn't the same. When you going into countries people are running out of you can imagine it isn't that great. People go to Mexico and send pix of the views oh its so great here well why over 5 k of them a day are running over here. Brazil has plenty big O booty chicks for sure and some areas are decent but its best to have guides so you don't wonder into a area and get hurt and robbed. Things can get ugly real fast. I have heard stories. But if you are friends with some locals who share the same hobby habits like we do, then it's a different ball game. But exercise caution always in this hobby whether in sugar creek or in Medellin, Colombia.

No substitute for street smarts. You explained it well. Lived in two of the biggest cities in the US and fortunately picked up SS young. Now use it like a second skin. Medellin, Colombia was fun as long as I was safe. I would use a reviewed sala de masaje and ask the driver to drop me right out front. Then when done ask the hostess to call a cab. Speak their language and remain patient. The cost just to get there was steep, so I pursued lots of activites and enjoyed friends old and new. Medellin is safe and scenic in the right areas of the city.

I never use my main sim card number for any contact in this realm.

I have now received: three different fake cartel death threats with images of cut off heads, a spoofed number from a local police department demanding $3,500 to go toward assisting vice efforts to stop human trafficking, 3 demands for $$$ or my family would be contacted.

Knowing these scammers- (unless they have Nat State Hacking skills and they don't) can not get my true identity from a voip burner number is beautiful. And to say fuck off is even better.

That is the problem I have with using FaceTime for verification. It is a sneaky way for them to get your real contact information. Come on guys. Do you really trust these girls that much? Even if you do, if they get busted, uncle can get their phones with all your personal information. They may not be able to bust you from that information but they can harass you.

FaceTime is an Apple service that is associated with an Apple ID. I don't see how using a different SIM card and number associated with it changes that? ...
