This is actually a good question and the search feature has a couple of quirks. It is good to know them. First, if your searches are in an individual thread then the list will be from that thread. If you search in a city then the search will be of all the threads in the city. I can't remember if you can search a state but I am pretty sure you can search the whole site.
Second, your searches have to be a certain length, I think it has to be at four characters or more. So, you can search for the head game legend, Sky, and it won't return any posts. Search "Sky BBBJ" and I bet you get a lot of reading material.
