Old homes but very nice. Her building just wasn't taken care of in the same way.

What's that mean? Don't show up in a suit and folks won't pay any attention to you. That said, I would not hang out in that neighborhood on a weekend after 10 pm. There are nice houses nearby. There are not nice people who probably don't get out of the house until 4 pm nearby too.
