2001 Odyssey versus Mons Venus
Like most out of towners probably do, I did the one two punch of visiting 2001 Odyssey and Mons Venus. It was a Wednesday night so thankfully both places were slow and the parking was plentiful. There was a nice fella in the parking lot of Odyssey directing customers to the best spots and he gave me a half off coupon for the cover, so kudos to him. At the Mons I literally parked six feet from the front door so you can't get better than that.
Overall, I would say both clubs have a lot more similarities than differences. The Odyssey goes hardcore on advertising their nude status all over the radio ads and on the signage, but once you get inside you realize the girls only get full nude during stage dancing (and in the back rooms), and otherwise walk around in bikinis. I remember when full nude meant girls were not allowed to wear a shred of clothing any time they were inside the club. Both clubs seem about the same size, with the Mons being slightly larger. The Odyssey has a larger area in the back for lap dances and VIP sessions, whereas the Mons has small cubicles right in the main area with curtains that the girl draws close for privacy.
The beverage selection at Odyssey is better than Mons, with a nice variety of non-alcoholic beers like O'Doul's, Coors Edge and Heineken Zeros. The Mons only has bottled water and Red Bulls and this seems odd to not offer at least one type of non-alc beer. I tried a bottle of Coors Edge and I must admit it was pretty tasty. I have nothing against water, but when I'm at a festive environment like a rock concert, football game or strip club I want a beer in my hand and not a bottle of nutritious nothingness that belongs in the gym or yoga class.
I won't get into specifics about particular dancers but overall the majority of girls are all young (age 18 to 26) and mostly white and Latina, with no black or Asian dancers at either club on this night. This is a very stark contrast to places like Atlanta where many clubs are over half AA dancers and Latina. The body types are mostly thin with not that many phat booties like you see at urban clubs in Atlanta and Dallas. The one big plus is that all the girls were very friendly and quick to approach you once you get inside the club, which is a pleasant contrast to all the vacant stares you get at clubs up north in Ohio and Pennsylvania where I'm from. I've ranted for many years why girls in northern clubs are so standoffish, which basically means they work at a club to socialize with other dancers and not interested in making money. I don't go into a strip club to be ignored by dancers and stare at my phone, so I applaud you Southern folks for creating the right kind of clubs where only sexy and friendly young ladies will be hired. I wish you could export this club policy to us northerners starving for friendly girls but it's a lost cause and it depresses me.
As far as extras, I wasn't looking for X-rated fun on this night but I did get plenty of ass rubbing and titty groping and nipple sucking in the lap rooms of both clubs. So to summarize, the Odyssey and Mons are great places to visit for an out of town tourist sick of the apathetic girls working the northern clubs who don't even want to talk to you and have the lamest lap dances in the country. I'm a sucker for the simple pleasures in life, and if I get to sit on a barstool while rubbing the cute ass of a pretty young lady while we make idle conversation, well then that's a good night that sure beats sitting at home stroking off to PornHub. Of course, neither of these clubs come close to the sinful debauchery and wild west atmosphere of the now-defunct Follies in Atlanta which was a place that was eager to drain every drop of nut butter out of your sack, but that is a discussion for another day. I get sad even bringing up the fact that the Mighty Follies is no more because it makes me lose faith in humanity.

Jenny and Natasha at Emperors
Went to Emperors today around 6 pm. Was kind of slow with only 6 or so girls around. Had a couple of drinks when two Latino girls came up to me. Jenny was blonde and Natasha had dark hair.
