At 7 eleven and was approached by someone and asked if I wanted a date. I let the little head do the thinking and said ok.

We went to a spot she knew and 5 minutes later 3 cop cars pulled in. Complaint states" did pay, agree to pay or offer to pay another person to engage in sexual conduct, or to agree to engage in sexual conduct with another person".

Any recommendations for a good lawyer? Haven't been arrested in 30 something years so I have no idea what to expect.

Call the DA's number, explain you couldn't hear the offer, didn't want to agree to something you weren't sure about hearing correctly, you're not a 'regular' to the system, and is it too late to accept the community service offer?

Then, stop doing car dates.

Go to the clean, safe, $25/2hr rooming house.

I have to agree, everything here does not add up. usually one is informed at the time of being taken into custody what the charges might be. UC female LE usually don't make the first move, they usually act like they are strolling and let the stupid monger incriminate himself. and if it were a genuine SW working with LE, that just doesn't sound right either.

I suppose they might keep an eye on a known SW and follow whatever vehicle they get into, but there is no law against giving a poor girl a ride and stopping to chat.

Sounds like a bogus story, but you never know what the cops will pull. Sometimes the cops will arrest someone just to see if it stands up in court. A few years ago a cop threatened to arrest me and see what happens in court.

But based upon the facts I think the case is winnable in a jury trial.
