I have a permit to carry and I NEVER bring my weapon out of the vehicle for the reasons you stated as well as other reasons. When I go inside anywhere to meet a date, I ONLY bring my car key. No Keyfob, no wallet, NOTHING but the cash I plan on spending. I make sure my vehicle is parked in a public place too. This way if anything goes wrong, the most they get from me is the cash I planned on spending. I never go in dive motels, or dive locations I feel unsafe. You bring a gun, you are looking at something serious happening if it goes bad. Jail time or worse. Especially if she or her friends get ahold of your gun. You could end up shot, and accused of trying to attack or rape her. You have no idea what circumstances you could put yourself into. I would rather get robbed and walk away clean, then have a nightmare unfold, news involved, months of court, etc.

Then before giving you the room number she'll ask you for the card info and numbers and then once she has that she'll pull all the money off the card before you get inside and knock on a hopefully empty hotel room door.
Often times they'll ask for the Greendot Moneypaks where you just scratch off the back to get the reload code numbers and once someone has the numbers the money can be uploaded to almost anywhere. There are also gift cards and other reload cards that they can do basically the same shit with.
