Everything seemed fine until she got in then changed the details of the meet. Which were supposed to occur at his place. But another approach that (though still kind of "lazy" on your part) MIGHT work for you is to describe (in detail) what kind of experience YOU'D like to have, and then ask if any of the other members can recommend providers who would meet those expectations.
In any event, just asking who's "the best" is most likely going to end in frustration for you, IMO.
