Was recently in your city and figured I'd meet with someone. Brookee from EE seems to be popular on the boards so went with her. Got done with work early and text Ella who responded pretty quickly promising a fun day. She said she was "free now" and I gave her an ETA of about 15 minutes. I originally text her on the phone that someone said was her temporary phone but she responded back on her iPhone so I could tell that she read my ETA message a minute after it was sent. I arrived on time, text a few times. Crickets. Tried the other phone. Crickets. Finally after waiting 17 minutes I sent a text demonstrating my confusion and said maybe another time.

She read the messages 28 minutes after I arrived. And what was her response? Nothing. Zippo. Zilch. Not a "I'm sorry", no "I got a phone call" or "I was in the shower" — all of which I would have accepted because I like to give these providers the benefit of the doubt. Hell I was across the street and if she had responded with anything, seriously ANYTHING, I would have come back. This does not seem like the behavior of someone who is sober. This seems like the behavior of someone who cared more about using than anything else.

I'm glad others had a great time. I hope I'm totally wrong and there is a really good explanation for her not responding at all. But I can't think of one.
