Strip Club Reports

Was in town on Sat. Night and thought that I would head out for some fun. Thought about YS but there has just been too many negative reports recently for my taste and too many of "my" girls have left or have been fired. Plus, I was not in the mood to see manager perv Donnie staking out the rooms so I ended up going to the Pink Pony.

Now there are 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back. The lack of cars in the parking lot should have been my first clue but I went in anyway hoping some of the former YS girls would be there. Besides, cover was only $5. 00. Did not recognize anyone one nor did I spot anyone that I would let sit on my lap. Pretty nasty looking girls.

Club was dead, probably 5 or 6 dancers working and probably the same number of customers. Most seemed content to hang out in the dressing room or sit a the bar and do nothing. Pretty much a wasted evening and I doubt I will go back.

I visited Ybor Strip on Friday. 11/19, at around 6 pm. I saw a few familiar faces, like Lexi, Monique, Joey, Tiki, and Heather. I also saw the return of Julia. Julia looks like she gained 15-20 pounds. Her butt is at least 5 times larger. She has a really bitchy attitude too. She disgusted me. Not with her weight gain, but her bitchy attitude.

I talked a little bit with Heather. She seems to have lost some weight. We went back for a few dances. They were fun, but no extras. Still, they were pretty fun and stimulating.

All in all, not a bad time.

I don't see this discussed much on the forum, but I found a coupon for free admission to Scores in the Creative Loafing. I also saw the free admission coupon for 2001 in Nightmoves magazine. They have been printing that forever. I was just visiting Tampa.

I ended up at Scores on Sunday night and it was dead. I'm sure the best talent was off on Sunday, but I was not impressed. One lady who was really hustling dances claimed to be 37, so how old is she really? She had the best body money can buy. Of course the tits were bought, but also her lips and she probably had some body sculpting done too. She offered a lap dance at the table for. 2 or 3 private lappers for. 99. I passed. The only good thing was the free admission and 2 for 1 beers at five dollars.

Guys, if you go to, not just strip clubs, any bar in general, at these off-beat times, guess what's going to happen? You are going to find a club / bar that is dead as a door nail.

In the case of strip clubs, of course you won't find a whole slew of girls at these off beat times. This is not a time-frame that attracts a whole lot of business.

If you are hellbent on visiting dayshift, early evening or any time on Sunday (with the exception of Mons. 2001 and Scores if it is the three hour period after a home Bucs game) you are not going to find a packed out strip club anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.

You want lot's of dancers and lot's of other guys in the room. Monday through Wednesday, you'll find the most of both in the last three hours the club is open. Move it up to the last five hours the club is open on Friday and Saturday.

End of story.

Personally I don't go to hang out with a bunch of guys. I have had some of my best times in deserted strip clubs. Of course there are more dancers when it's busy, but there is also more competition for a dancer's time. I've turned down goddesses at Mons thinking I'll see them later for a lapper and never see them again. I actually went to Mons after Scores and did not do any lap dances, but I could have picked any of the dancers because it was not crowded.

I was staying in St Pete and was going to drive up to the Tampa clubs on Saturday night. But decided against it because I thought they would be too crowded and hectic for my taste.

So, perhaps I was not clear in my post. The purpose of my post was not to complain that Scores was dead on a Sunday night. My understanding is Scores bills itself as an upscale club. If that's the case in my opinion they should only put quality dancers on their stage. When it's not busy I would expect fewer dancers and maybe a little less quality. The quality at Mons was down from a busy time, but there were still several real hotties.

Maybe the price of admission is not a big deal and nobody is interested in a coupon. So sorry I bothered you all. I won't waste any more of your time.

That said, you'd be shocked at just how many guys walk out of a strip club. Clubs with 20+ girls on shift but it's early in the evening and their reasoning is "There's no guys here."

I've stated many times in the past, I have had a huge connection to the Tampa Bay area strip clubs for over twenty years, now. I'm not making this up. I've witnessed it on a daily basis.

Now, harsh reality. Every club in Tampa Bay, except maybe Starlight and The Library, likes to think of themselves as "upscale."

Even more harsh reality: There are way too many strip clubs in the Tampa Bay area for every club that thinks of itself as upscale to provide you with women that stepped straight out of some teenager's wet dream.

A much more harsh reality: If the club is known for extras, the girls ain't going to be that pretty and their bodies will not be tight as a drum and in the pinacle of physically fit.

The harsh truth: There are, exactly, two clubs you can go to in the Tampa Bay area and find a whole lot of really hot girls. They are Mons and 2001. And on any given night, you'll find 10-20% of 2001's line-up to not be what you'd expect from the price of admission and at least one. Many nights, two. Of those girls (Bam Bam for size and Yvetta for sheer ugliness) would scare the living shit out of the most brave of men.

Sadly, you won't find much in the extras department at either. But you'll have some damn fine eye candy.

But I was just saying that there are so many reviews out there on boards like this. If you go to the ultimate strip club list, you'll find reports from all around the world that talk about dead Sundays, afternoons, early evenings. I was just commenting on the sheer volume of these types of reports and your mentioning a dead Sunday came at a time when I had the free time to ramble on about something that's driven me nuts for years.

No offense to you. Thanks for your report. I hope a lot of guys use those cover charge coupons.

You said you'd expect an "upscale club" to offer better but the truth is, ain't no one's A-Team working on Sunday nights, from the dancers to the bar staff to the DJs to the managers to the bouncers.

I've had some great times on slow days.

On the other hand, if a strip club is going to be open on a Sunday or afternoon or some other slow time they should at least still be making some attempt at offering entertainment when a customer is in the house. Otherwise they shouldn't bother being open. Don't sell me an overpriced drink and then tell me there's no girls there; that's like going into an open restaurant and being told you can sit down, but there's no food today. Yes, that is how a normal business would operate. Strip clubs, however, have become slaves to the dancers because the current crop of owners lack balls.

Diamond Dolls in Clearwater was the first domino to fall in the Tampa Bay area, nearly two decades ago. They got a manager who would look at a pretty girl and be so damn afraid she might go work somewhere else that if she didn't want to dance to decent music, she didn't have to. If the shift was 7-2 but she wanted to come in at 10:30 and be gone by midnight, so be it, God forbid she go work somewhere else. If she balked at being told what days she needed to be at work, let her have her way because, holy shit, she's hot and we can't let another club have her.

So now you have an entire metro area with strip clubs where there is no such thing as a dancers' schedule. Dancers don't even have to tell the club what days they plan to work. They show up on the days they want to, at the time they want to and they leave when they want to.

The inmates run the asylums.

There is a big enough day shift pie to support and two decently staffed clubs on each side of the bay and enough Sunday pie to support one decently staffed club on each side of the bay. But no owner has enough balls to be the first to say,"I'm done wasting money being open at these times." They are all too afraid that if they are closed during the day or on Sundays that you, their precious customer, might go to a competitor.

I had a long drawn out argument with the owner of Temptations, back in the mid-90s. They had a successful day shift and night shift but could not get a single dancer to work on Sundays. Yet they insisted on staying open. I asked the owner, repeatedly,"Would you rather have guys find a locked door on Sundays and tell his friends, 'I guess Temptations is closed on Sundays, ' or do like they are doing now, telling friends, 'I went to Temptations the other night. It sucks, no girls work there. '"

So I'll tell you what I tell everyone who suggests "they need to staff it better, etc." about strip clubs. Go open a club and try to run it that way. When you're ready to kill yourself over the red ink spraying all over the place, I'll buy it from you for millicents on the dollar and you'll thank me for it and then be baffled as to how I made it work when you couldn't and you were "doing it right."

As for your first comment about having fun when it's dead in the club, yes it can be fun and economical. But we are not in the majority. Most guys will not go into an empty club. Again, this is not something I'm pulling out of my ass, this is something I've observed on a daily basis for twenty-one years.

Now, by the same token, if your income depended upon customers being there to spend money and you had a dozen other guys trying to make that same money and on Sundays, you kept finding that there were only enough customers for four of the thirteen of you to make money, would you still make any effort to work on Sundays? Or would you continue to go in and make nothing, yet still have to pay the expenses of being there?

So it's great that YOU want to go spend money at an off time. But if you're the only one who wants to, there's not going to be a lot of prime talent from which to choose.

And, like I said, you are right. The clubs that can't make it happen on those off times should just close. But that's not going to happen and half the reason is that plenty of the same people who go online and ***** about the lack of girls in off times would be on these same boards raising holy hell about how "now they aren't even bothering to be open for me on those off times I love to go in."

Saw two new nice additions to YS Wednesday night. Some new Hawaiian girl named Laylana (don't know about spelling) , and another new girl from Brazil. Both have great bodys but didn't get a chance to get a dance.

Anybody go to the club just south of Hillsborough Ave on 56th? Drove by and people were parked all over the side of the road and median. Looked way busy at 10pm ish on a week night.

Another monger got take-out, so I never got a dance. Back then there was a mall across 56th st. The mall went so getto that they had to close in the 90s. Near there on Hillsborough, there is a strip club that has changed owners and names many times, Sin City was the name at one point I think. Once I went in and the doorman gave me a pat down, in all my life this was the only time I was searched to go into a strip club. That place was a total waste of time and money.

I don't live in the Tampa area, but I've been to YS five times. I'll stop if I'm in town for something else or on my way through.

I read reports about no extras in this forum. Before I unintentionally offend anyone, I believe what you've written. In the five times I've been there in the past two years, I've always gotten, or at least been offered, extras, though.

I read something about a management crackdown recently in the forum, but it wasn't evident in my visit tonight. However, Sonya (Sonia?) said someone (bouncer? Manager?) may peek in the booth, and she wanted me to hurry a bit. I think she's hot, and I enjoyed her candid personality, but I've had much better in the performance department at YS. Well, I've also had a little worse once, too, I guess.

Went to YS last night with a fellow hobbyist. We were dressed in business casual clothes. Had an up and down time. I used to go there more frequently when the place had more of a moral flexibility. Arrived at 10:30 my friend danced with Ireland who told him "I don't always take all my clothes off" WTF? And this in a private room. But lesson learned. Had several good dances from some regular girls. But best of night was Michelle. OUTSTANDING! I couldn't stop. Which means she was doing an excellent job separating me from my $$ but at no time did she try to hustle for the VIP room and I knew what was what.

Some girls will just let one song roll into another and another and not say a thing and then surprise you with a number larger than expected. Michelle kept me posted when songs changed. It was a great time, she has an awesome and willing body. I just wish I could see her outside the club without the men-in-black lurking around/

Stayed until 1am. Place was not that hopping for a Friday night. Most of the dancers were black or hispanic. Which really isn't my thing so my choices were limited. I'll go back to see Michelle. If anyone has had any experience with her feel free to PM me.
