As the law is written now an undercover LE can act as any monger or provider normally does and they a protected by the law. On the upside, the vast majority of the departments DO NOT allow their officers to go thru with the actual acts. Synergy's case comes to mind where the undercover got a BJ from her, but apparently was not given enough instruction as to their dept's rules, so while a great number of clients got outed, she was allowed to walk way without any charges and even got her confiscated property returned eventually.
