While we are on the subject of phones this just happened to me recently and made me think about it more. After seeing a girl in my car and dropping her off like normal I get a voicemail a couple hours later from the phone company asking me to call a certain number since she left her phone in my car. I use google voice so it was relatively fine. I wouldn't have cared about it until I remembered about how on some of these phones can pinpoint the location of them. I removed the battery and kept it off until I saw her again the next day to return it. But that would have been awkward, sitting at home and someone knocks at the door saying you have their phone in your car. Hard to play that one down in front of anybody. Luckily for me her phone was just a beat up older smartphone but now I'm goign to have to be more diligent in making sure they get everything out.

After thinking a little clearer I enlisted the help of a friend to show up at the pick up spot and watch for uninvited guest. She showed up but I'm glad I had my buddy watching for me she was the girl in the picture that was on FB but she got out a van with some seriously tatted latino guys, my friend said he saw at least 4 guys in back and the van parked a little down the block and watched her. Needless to say that I wasnt trying to find out if they were friendly. Stay safe guys.
