Somehow I missed all these reports. So I just got updated. Thanks guys for posting! Knew Erin from 5+ years ago. She was great then. Pretty much went down hill from there I guess.
What reports?
What reports?
Excuse me, the posts below.

Man. I am seriously thinking about moving to NY or NV.
Police in Windsor did a sting operation and arrested six clients.
I thought it was legal in ontario. Apparently not!
Windsor has a prostitution ordinance. Escorts must be licensed and can do outcall only. Incall and massage parlors are illegal in Windsor. Canada has bought into the idea that all escorts are victims, so they have a national prostitution law that says it is legal for the escort to sell sex but illegal for the client to buy it. They are focusing on jailing the clients instead of the women now. Reports on the Canadian boards say LE is posting fake ads on escort sites and arresting the men who come to meet the cop they think is a hooker. Be careful out there.
I thought it was legal in ontario. Apparently not!
Canadian law as of 2014 considers women involved in prostitution to be 'victims' so it's legal for the girl, but being a John or living off the proceeds is criminal.

Obviously not an optimal situation for mongers, especially those assuming the law is what it was before the change. I used to monger in Windsor frequently.

I hope none of you were in the latest lineup of guys trying to hook up with underage kids, if so, you deserve to be behind bars.

Good to see people calling BS on the human trafficking headlines. Also people saying the cops are focusing on this now that pot is legal.
Maybe sex worker legalization will be the eventual result.
I know it's in the news and media section, but some of you barbarians ignore that section. LOL. But there was a big bust in Warren. I'm not sure if it was at a hotel.

Warren police have announced the arrests of 46 people as part of the department's human trafficking and prostitution sting "Operation Crusade."
The arrests include 25 females and 21 males, according to a release from Police Commissioner William Dwyer.
The department is planning to hold an 11 am News conference to discuss the arrests.

I've been seeing her off and on for years, met her at several motels, really scary stuff. Be careful out there.

The people that were busted are on wxyz, yes I know.
Its awful for those that are on the wrong end of Warren needing to generate revenue but also can protect other people from getting busted.
You never heard of someone getting in trouble and then working w LEO?
They for sure do, you know most, if not all these girls had candy, and or candy equipment. Yet how many got charged with that? I'm sure they drop a charge or two, to help LE, they only care about the charge that makes the headlines anyway. Just my 2 cents.
You never heard of someone getting in trouble and then working w LEO?
On a felony charge yes, not a misdemeanor prostitution charge. LE isn't going to make hooker X a CI and put her on the payroll.
Here are the charges:
Seven charges of transporting a prostitute, 20 year felony;
One charge of accepting the earnings of prostitution, 20 year felony;
Six charges of house of prostitution, 5-year felony;
Six charges of possession of a controlled substance, 4-year felony;
20 charges of prostitution, one-year misdemeanor;
34 charges of using a computer in a crime, one-year misdemeanor;
14 charges of soliciting for prostitution, 93-day misdemeanor; and
Unspecified number of charges of possession of narcotic equipment, 90-day misdemeanor.
I'm no attny, but I read this as if you were picking up a street walker they could pound you with a 20 yr felony for transporting a prostitute.
Don't forget that your smart phone it's a computer. From what I read below (the numbers add up) they did search the phones for both providers and mongers and they found incriminating evidence. Just be careful what you keep on your monger phone and what are you asking a provider. There is more time for using a computer for a crime than it is for soliciting. Phone encryption, safe delete apps (iShred), incognito mode or privacy browsers (DuckDuckGo) can help. Someone mentioned (and I can't remember) there is a SMS app that is web based, you have to log on to a website to use it. Unlike apps installed on the phone, the web app does not leave traces on the phone but is less convenient to use.
Stay safe, any charge for a hard working man can be devastating for his career.
Ben.
Can any one explain this. What is the 20,34 or 14 charges mean. Is it mean how many time get busted? Thanks.
It means 20 people were charged with X, 34 people were charged with Z, etc.
I think 20 were charged with prostitution, 14 got charged for soliciting and since 20+14=34 each of them also got charged with using a computer to commit a crime. I'm not a law professional and I wonder if a flip phone would be considered a computer these days.
Stay safe out there.
Ben.

Hard to believe those ladies were 61 though, I would've guessed 40's.
It's just a matter of time before Ferndale LE is pressured into paying the nearby parlor a surprise visit. You can see LE HQ just across the parking lot. Notables such as Jenny and Ebony are seldom there if at all. Celine feared her activities in the Fashionable Fern area could land her some unwanted Fed attention and brancked out on her own. The ACU bust must be making them nervous since ACU had a long standing "No boom boom" policy. I for one am not up for the risk of being on the 6 O'clock. Play safe.

It's actually a very nice place presentation wise, and the girls there are pretty cute as well. What the real kicker is that there's actual REAL human trafficking going on Detroit and surrounding cities and they would rather focus their efforts on busting ladies just trying to scrape out a living. Might try and make one more trip out there quickly before it's too late.
