There was another story that happened that I did find believable though. This college student got busted for texting pictures of his penis to his teacher who was a woman. That's another story where I don't think that kid will get charged but they arrested him to put him out there at least. The saying of innocent until proven guilty goes out the window with the media. However, I bet the teacher is getting police protection to an extent now.

Everyone I've ever known who worked at City Hall said there was just an ingrained, multi-generational culture of corruption; it's so bad even a good, well-intentioned mayor is eventually going to be stained by it. At times, it's so blatant as to be almost comical, although I think post-Bill Campbell there's a little more discretion.

Being arrested SUCKS, even if (maybe more so) you're innocent, or confident you won't be convicted.
Even the whitest (let's be honest), richest, most connected guy with three attorneys on autodial is spending at LEAST six hours in jail, because it takes that long just to be processed. And if you can't contact someone to bail you out? Hello, jail pajamas and PB&J.
Plus, mugshot and arrest info gets scraped by all the mugshot sites pretty much same day, and stay up forever; they SEO the shit out of those sites, too, so if you have a weird name, your arrest is coming up on Google's page one forever. Fun to keep explaining to future employers.
If you're married? "hey hon, no worries, I'll get off on a technicality!" Right.
So threat of arrest is a HUGE disincentive to hobbying, which is the whole intent of this kind of operation: scare the money away. ALL the municipalities want is for pay for play to stop where they are, and go somewhere else: it's a big game of whack-a-mole. I completely agree, even if you were able to get out of the conviction because thanks to your detachment tools such as a burner made for a weak case, you still have the problem of the mugshots a day in jail the explanations to your wife etc. Etc.
Prevention is the best tool out there, that's why forums like this one and others exist, do your homework don't just look into BP and dial the first provider you see there, especially with all these seductive blondes popping up all of a sudden.
When it comes to the pre-date you have to let your big head do all the thinking, don't rush, don't get all worked up, just cool and calm do your research even if it takes days and then you move forward, and even after all of that is done and you're moving ahead if anything smells fishy that's why you have your detachment mechanisms where you pull out completely and walk away.
When listing all the precautions we take I forgot to mention that before all of that is research research research.

I went through the alphabet, a, b, c etc. Then in the browser search button put prost. In and hit them that way.
