The word was out that he was going to get fired by the new mayor and city council so at the first new council meeting he resigned. His parting remark was " I guess I should have contributed to his campaign fund (meaning the newly elected mayor.).

Three weeks later the "new" Apopka city attorney resigns after the 'Luv Shack" accusation.

This is dirty nasty inside politics at it's very best.

The "Luv Shack" incident has been over for years but somebody knew about it and burned this guys ass. The fact that his number was in the luv shack records proves nothing in a courtroom but in "THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION" it means everything!

I know 2 guys that escaped the Luv Shack deal by the skin of their teeth, one because the camera they used was at the wrong angle to read his car tag, and he has so much to lose, so much he quit the hobby.

If ever there was "proof" that a burner phone is necessary, this is it.

I can't help but to wonder if a lot of this funding for these operations comes from grants and federal / state programs under the banner of 'human trafficking' because "The body rub trade" would probably not stir up as much negative emotions and imagery as 'trafficking' has been historically associated with drugs and guns.

First, the unlicensed titty bar on Oak Ridge and now an unlicensed rub house on Semoran? That is bold. Stupid. But bold.

Now that the heavily armed SWAT team from MBI is on the case I feel so much safer. You cannot tell me that the cop they interviewed is proud of his work. They called the press for this huge cat house conspiracy bust and only one station showed up and all you have to show for it is, let's see, no arrests and you hauled away a couple of highly dangerous massage tables.

Then there is the poor dude in the back of the police cruiser. He looks like a college student. He wasn't arrested because there was nothing illegal going on yet there he is, handcuffed, in the back of a squad car. He is probably scarred for life.

So preforming massage or body rubs without a license in Florida is a felony!

There probably could be recourse to the TV station as they were on private property while filming and probably didn't get any permission but who wants the publicity. The sheriff probably called a few stations but only one showed up so he could be held liable for something, I'm no lawyer but it would be nice to sweat him some like those guys sweated I imagine.

The WFTV (of course) report, at one point shows the mongers. One standing and shirtless, and the other, younger, cuffed in the back of the cruiser. Stating along the lines of "compromising positions" the way the agents found them (with?) the girls, whom looked good by the way.

I mean, what can you do in this situation? I know it has crossed my mind once or twice while I've been on the table between the time you get there and when the girl walks in. This is why I suspect licensed providers who follow the law on this never seem to get busted even if they provide extras.

So all of this buzz about massage parlors with no license to operate, expired licenses, and the oh so dangerous 'compromising positions'; and I ask where is the terrible danger to the community? Sure one of these joints did have an illegal drug operation in the background, and kudos to our readers in blue for that. Yet thousands are spent to destroy the hobby where consenting adults are engaged in business. Priorities are skewed towards easy prey, and not against the real criminals out there. And yes, I know its all about media attention, but if a bust of twenty providers earns good ratings, then imagine what a hot scoop the bust of a real criminal ring would bring.

Just a thought and my humble opinion.

I was unaware until reading the posts that it was a felony to give a body rub with out a license. Would make sense that without the proper licenses that it would be an open door to getting easily harrassed. Would probably benefit to to be aware of who your neighbors are and try and stay more in commercial and industrial areas. If you have residential neighbors close by where there is constant complaints, whether real or false, someone may be forced to act.
