They have been advertising new massage therapists so I thought I would go check them out. I walked in and an older lady with short dark hair, very plain face, greeted me. She took the house fee and led me to a room. I saw another one there that was younger and with long hair in a ponytail. Wish I had gotten her. Got to the room (1/2 length curtains) and got undressed and went face down on the table. She walks in and puts the towel over my thighs. Left my butt uncovered. Proceeded to give a good massage with lots of activity in and around the arse, good glute workout, but wouldn't really get close enough to the goods. I caressed her leg, thigh and butt, but to no avail. On the flip, I got a sweet smile, but she covered junior and spent most of the time on my face and head. When it got close to the end she did this light touch all over my stomach and upper abdomen but, again, stayed away from the goods. Time was up and came strait out and asked her if she was going to take care of junior. She said no, don't do that here. No amount of cajoling could get her to the endpoint, so I left. Just curious C69, when you get nothing but a good massage, do you leave a tip? If so, how much?

I know I'm always too much of a pussy to not leave a generous tip. But even so, I usually leave about $20. Am I being too generous?

I didn't tip as well as I normally would have. I'm sure that didn't endear me to the place and they will remember if I ever go back. If I'm at a spa type place where I know the girl only gets a cut of the fee, I tend to tip a little more say, $20, particularly if it was a very good massage. If its at an Indy, I will usually tip around 10- 15% rounded up, sometimes more, depending upon the quality of the massage. Of course, with extras, its more. I went in this place with expectations based upon recent reports. Being disappointed in the outcome, I left a $10 tip, (slightly more than 15%)

LexLuther[/QUOTE]Good question Lex and I have wondered the same thing. I myself will tip $20 if its nothing more then a legit massage. I don't go by the 10-20% tip rule. Think about it. A legit massage place charges anywhere from $50-80 for a massage. So if I was to tip the max at 20% on a $50 massage then the tip would be only be $10. That's not enough IMO so I set my standard at $20 no matter how much I pay for a massage (legit). Did you get my PM about the place in North Charleston?

I have been to the Ashley River Road place a few times in the past before they closed for a "remodel". Received nice sensual massages with no roaming and some help on the finish. The ones who have been there know what I mean by that. I went back after they reopened and I got a massage from the middle aged lady with the ling hair. I paid for the hour and they tried to get me to upgrade to the 90 massage. I declined. Her massage was harder then I liked and from that I was thinking nothing more to be had.
