But either way, if it is owned by Asians, run by Asians and the standard "Asian treatments" are provided, I still think it is an AMP. It's like eating at an Asian restaurant. The hostess may be white, but it's still an Asian Restrarant.
Furthermore, the word,"therapist" cannot be used by ANYONE who does not have a massage license so the term, "Relaxation Therapist" would not be a correct term. Perhaps,"relaxation provider" may be what you meant.

I stand corrected

NO ARGUMENTATIVE COMMENTS INTENDED: just posting my clarification of why I said what I said!
Furthermore, the word,"therapist" cannot be used by ANYONE who does not have a massage license so the term, "Relaxation Therapist" would not be a correct term. Perhaps,"relaxation provider" may be what you meant.
(Per our prior discussion about whether any client could get into extra trouble by asking for "massage" when the provider wasn't an LMT) using the word "therapist" is, naturally, technically illegal but that doesn't stop any client or provider from misusing it anyway: just as this very board uses "Massage" as 1 of it's forum-headings without limiting postings to those that only refer to LMT's; but I'd say that "RP" would work just fine if everyone recognises it. Or you could use "RT" to mean "relaxation technician" or even "rub & tug" if that helps? I'd prefer the much simpler (& all inclusive)"BR" for "body rub" but, again, it'd have to be used enough to become an instantly recognisable acronym!
I was thinking the "A" was for adult.
So when you said she worked at an "AMP" you meant,"Adult" Massage Parlor? Do they have anything other than "Adult" massage parlors? Like as in KMP, Kid Massage Parlors? Just messing with you.

All I was interested in was trying to understand his story and not get into a nursing home brawl over who is smarter, who knows more, and who is right. He said,"Kate/Katie used to work at an AMP". You got on here and said,"AMP" means "Asian Massage Provider". How can she "work at a "Provider?" So I knew that wasn't right. I was only clarifying if he was saying she "worked at an AMP" or "was an Asian Provider" and wanted to be sure either you or he didn't type the wrong word by mistake. I am a fan of spinners and I'm especially fond of Asians. RdytoPlay59 corrected me saying he meant,"Adult" vs "Asian". Thanks for clearing that up. That really is all I was trying to get at so I could figure out your story.
BTW, the abbreviations on here say an AMP means (Parlor) not (Provider).

If you Google it you'll only find one definition in terms of massage and again it is only "Parlor" and never could I find, "provider", but hate to get too "nit-picky as you called me. Hey, it is what it is. In all seriousness, I thought you just typed it wrong and I was only pointing it out for clarification.
