I use 'Burner' phone app ($3 or $5/ month) you can text, picture text, calls, VM etc and those scammers can't get your personal info to extort you. When you get that "pay me or I'll kill your family" BS text, simply hit burn and pick another number to use. Happy Mongering.

Got scammed by this chick $100 because I let my d**k do the thinking.

Her whole scam is that she asks you for money up front because she needs to pay for the room or she will get kicked out. I ended up giving it to her because she actually did video chat me, showing the inside of the room and outside, which matched the look of the outside when I got there.

I get to the room, knock on the door (I hear rap music blasting from the inside) but some old Hispanic dude opens it. I just said sorry and left. Didn't really get a chance to scan the room but in retrospect I'm convinced that it may have been a customer.

Anyways, I kept texting her but just ghosted me.
