Thats funny, why do I always have to pee as soon as I get to the amp. And there is always the sign about pissing on the rocks. Wonder what genious got them to put that sign up
Yeah, we all got much needed legit massages! Maybe those lawyers and judges who were regulars were there just to give legal advice!
Those judges and lawyers must have gotten shitty massages!
After doing a bit of online investigation on what has happened regarding the raids on the two Springfield Spas, I thought I'd post a quick report for those interested. The wheels of our fine justice system are in progress.
The Miko Spa and Tokyo Spa were raided on August 25, 2010 and five ladies were arrested. The two at Miko's were known as Candy and Pepsi and their ages were listed as 53 and 56. There were three ladies arrested at the Tokyo Spa and their ages were listed as 73, 67, and 63. I mention their ages so it is very clear that no child slavery/trafficking was involved. Initially, they all were placed in jail with $100, 000 bond because they were considered flight risks. I could not determine how long they actually spent in jail and when they made bail. It appears that at least some of them were eventually put on electronic monitoring. They all were charged with 3 counts in Springfield Municipal Court. Corrupt activity, prostitution, and money laundering.
It looks like some plea bargaining has taken place. All 3 of these initial counts have been dismissed. Subsequently they all have had prostitution and money laundering charges filed against them in Clark County Common Pleas Court. They all have pled guilty to these 2 charges.
The sentencing hearing for the 3 ladies from the Tokyo Spa is scheduled for 9/30/2010. The sentencing hearing for the 2 ladies from Miko's is scheduled for 11/10/2010. Hopefully the ladies will receive no further jail time and will be able to get on with their lives.
There are also charges against the business property owners as the businesses have been deemed as public nuisances and they are to remain closed. It looks like the business owner of Tokyo's was one of the ladies charged while the owner of Miko's is another party.
It is good see our justice system is working to get these dangerous criminals off the street and these businesses boarded up.
It will be interesting to see what happens to those vacated buildings. I would imagine that the bulding occupied by Mikos will just sit vacant for years (if not decades) to come. Maybe all the local crack/meth-heads will take up residence there. Yeah, that's a much better public nuisance.
Tokyo, by comparison, sits near the interstate and would seem to be much more of a prime location for another type of business (let's stick another Starbucks in there). It makes one wonder if someone wanted that land for development. Tokyo always kind of stood out as an old residential house on a strip of commercial businesses and maybe the owner either refused or, more likely, wanted way too much to sell. So, the prospective buyers made some discreet inquiries to LE (on the federal level) to initiate the raids and, now, I'm guessing the owner will sell the property for a much more reasonable price.
OTOH, it seems like I read somewhere that during the big raid on the southeastern Indiana AMPs, mention was made of a connnection to the Springfield AMPs. I don't recall the context or how long ago the Indiana raids took place but it seems like the timeframe of their conclusion may coincide with the beginning of the investigation into Springfield (which would seem to be extremely coincidental).
....and they were so close to retirement!
Back in the day they had good looking young gals there and we all know those same old ladies have been there for 15 plus yrs now and we all waited and waited till they retired so we could have new younger massage girls But the wait will have to continue till gov and the USA catches up with the rest of the world and leaves places like this alone.
And they were so close to retirement!
OMG, can't believe they are that old. I had a session last year with Candy. She was hot with a fairly firm body, and I thought she must be in mid 40's.
Too bad the only AMP I know in central Ohio is now gone. This going to be bored.
Tokyo was indeed mentioned in the Indiana legal documentation. I think one of the folks involved in the Indiana spas was tailed to Tokyo, or something like that. To the best of my recollection, Miko's was not mentioned in that proceeding. But as we all know, when LE decides that the time is politically ripe to go after AMPs, they go after ALL of them at the same time in the same area. I worry about Warren.
Holden Caulfield
I was in Springfield earlier in the month and decided to check out the two former city landmarks, Miko's and Tokyo's. I have included a few pics. Both buildings are boarded up and marked as public nuisances. At Tokyo's, it looks like the city needs to clean up some of the trash that LE might have sifted while through looking for evidence.
The Clark County Clerk of Court website shows the sentences of the three elderly ladies arrested in the Tokyo Spa bust. They pled guilty to the charges of promoting prostitution and money laundering. They all received the same sentence of 30 days in jail, 6 months of electronic monitoring, 5 years probation, forfeiture of the $4800 cash confiscated, forfeiture of interest in a bank account, and forfeiture of interest in the property.
The sentence hearing for the two ladies arrested at the former Miko's Spa is scheduled for November 10.

Holden Caulfield
Other interesting news, if you've been following developments in Indiana, most of the AMPs over there were just taken over by a new owner a couple months before the Miko's / Tokyo busts. Not saying that they are necessarily connected but wouldn't it be convenient if something happened to the only competition for your specific business in a 200 mile radius?
It's been a few years since I last visited Tokyo as I no longer get to Springfield, but I used to stop by there often during the 90's. I well remember my first visit. I wasn't sure about the services offered or the protocol for asking, so I just paid the one hour fee and was led to a room to undress. After a few minutes a cute young thing came in and took me to the shower. She payed extra attention to making sure the important parts were clean, which is usually a good sign, but wouldn't let me do any caressing of her.
After the shower she took me to the sauna and left me there for about ten minutes to do a slow bake then came and took me back to the room. The massage was pretty good with a lot of teasing around the inner thighs and ass, which was getting my hopes up for a nice HE. Finally she flipped me, did the usual massage and asked if there was anything else that needed massaging. I put her hand on junior. She smiled, picked up the baby oil and started working on junior. I was getting close and just blurted out "Oh, suck me, Baby! ". I was expecting to get the "not allowed" response that I had gotten in a few other AMPs. To my surprise, she cocked her head, said "OK" and started a wonderful BBBJ. No mention of extra price, she just got right to work. As I was getting close, I felt a squirt of oil around my ass and suddenly felt her finger sliding in and massaging my prostate. It sure didn't take long and I shot my load into her mouth. She spat, cleaned me up and helped me get dressed. I tipped her a little extra and left. I was back many times after that for the next ten years or so and always got excellent FS massages for a reasonable tip. The first time was the only time that I got the FIMA treatment but did get AR a few times.
I watched that area develop and often wondered how they managed to stay in business so long, since I was pretty sure that it was common knowledge that more than massages were being offered. It's sad to hear that they have finally been taken down. I was surprised to see the ages of the women. I knew there were a couple women that were a little older, but there were usually some young ones when I was there.
I never visited Miko's so can't comment on their operation.
