What the hell has been going on here in the past week?? NoBull, your posts are the most blatant waste of bytes on a web server that I have ever seen. Change your handle and post some useful information...like the locations/numbers of some of these part-time drug-using, pimp-free ****** that you date.
Ok..on to last night's results. Well, more like lack of. It really sucked last night from 1am until 4am. There was some heavy blonde working wabansia/hermitage wearing a tight skirt. She was out for a few hours...but she was not attractive at all. There were a lot of black sws too...but the few cute ones all got picked up quickly. 2 scraggly black sws were all that I saw on north between damen and western. I did see one very hot, slender blonde hanging around a doorway for about 3-5 minutes, but she was gone before I could get her attention.
I'll go out again in the next few days--maybe go up to broadway/wilson too.

I haven't posted here before but have been reading the posts for awhile. I was in the Midway area yesterday afternoon and saw no one out.
In reading some of the recent posts I will add my two cents. My thanks to Chester for the report. In the last few years I have lived in Chicago I have been able to use the report to hunt and find sw's. As I am able to travel on my job more during the day I hope to be able to contribute more to the board, which is a great source of information.
Again hats off to Chester for taking the time to compile the report and provide regular updates !
I really think the retoric should be taken off line and debate each other via Email, Chester's info is still a good reference in a lot of ways. Beyond that, NB's slamming of the Chicago scene is irrelevant, we know what the situation is here, we're making due with what we have, plain and simple.

I was out and about the North Ave area today. Very frustraing as I was almost hit 3 times by cars that were ducking in and out of alleys! I am hoping this is a result of the holiday weekend and not a normal weekend occurance. I may have to stick with middle of week hunts. Anyway, not much to look at between 10:00 pm and midnight. I have read postings of sw on Irving Park by the old mental health hospital. Can anyone tell me me what block that is around? I was too busy watching the road and avoiding the construcion barriers to look for landmarks.

I went away for a week and didn't have time to read WSG and all the fun happens while I am gone. In my other life (y'know, the hard working husband life) I belong to an internet mailing list that has topics related to my profession. I joined it because I was trying to keep up on new technologies. Too soon dominant personalites arose and personal attacks started to happen frequently. I recently unsubscribed because I was tired of this repeated sniping and flaming. I was really hoping it wouldn't happen here on my recreational board. Sigh.
You are right NoBull. Just because I can type and have a dial-up, I can add my .02. But I use the medium, for which it was intended...to share info. NoBull was right about one other thing. there are girls out there just under our noses. I always try to make eye contact with girls "waitng" for buses. 3 times I have picked girls up, given thema ride and gotten head in the process.
Wells St. south of Division used to be a good spot to pick up girls who were trying to stretch their welfare checks to the end of the month. Now that the Cabrini-Greene Neighborhood has been destroyed, you don't see as many girls.
I have picked up girls on Ashland, Irving Park, Lawerence, etc, etc, just by making eye contact, and asking if they needed a ride. But these only rarely happen.
In the interest of full disclosure: I am a mid 40's MWM who has lived in on the North side for 20 years. I am self-employed in a technical field, have a college degree, and vote Democratic. I suffer from White Liberal Guilt so I too sometimes delude myself that I am helping a girl out by dating her. Read my postings about the elusive Carmen.

NoBull, I agree with you on the distastefulness of the N word -- never use it and hate to see it used. But other than that, I haven't seen much of value from you. You indicated that you had special locations, but the two you mentioned, Madison and Prairie, are old news. I cruise Prairie regularly and have posted here about my experiences there. Never paid less than $20, but never tried to -- that's little enough. Madison has been mentioned regularly here as well.
I agree that a fair number of the girls on Prairie probably don't have pimps -- it's more of an amateur stroll and a lot of the girls you see once and never again. On Madison, most of them do have pimps -- you can see the guy standing twenty yards from her (or across the street) keeping an eye on her.
Easyrider -- I agree that border towns are a lot of fun, but when I lived in Texas I thought Laredo had Matamoros beat cold (for that matter, I thought Piedras Negras beat Matamoros). I was in Nogales Saturday, but was with people, so couldn't indulge the hobby. Broke my heart to be in a border town and not able to have a little fun. I was in TJ a couple months ago and it was wonderful.

As I was always told "you don't have to be black to be a "n - word"". Anyway, Chester's reports and comments have been very helpful (with the exception to the one major item that confuses me to this day - I always thought Diversey ran parallel to Addison, so I still can't find that location). The "original" report is dated, but it would be nearly impossible to udpate that regularly, that is why there is this forum. Anyway, I back Chester completely. You must remember the WSG was a completely different animal 5 years ago. Remember what North Avenue used to look like back then? Now they have a Starbucks for christ sake.
Anyway, has anyone encountered a SW named "Celeste" on North Avenue? I was driving west about 2 weeks ago and it started to pour. I pulled over when this thin latina (about 25-30) was running down the street. She came up to the window and asked for a lift. I told her to get in and we chit chat for a few minutes while she's giving me directions to her place. We get there she says thanks and hops out. Query: Was she dating? She never mentioned anything about it, but was bold coming up to the car like that.
Also, my car is somewhat noticable (or am I being paranoid?). Are there any suggestions short of renting or buying a new car (it kind of defeats the purpose of going the SW route and steering clear of the expensive escorts and agencies). This is the primary reason I have not participated (except for a few trips to Pete and Mabel's) in this part of the "hobby".
