So with all of the craziness that is going on in the world with the stock market dipping and prices of everything showing no signs of decreasing, do you think we are approaching the apex of when girls are going to start dropping their prices out of desperation or increasing their prices to try and make rent faster? Curious if any of the older mongers on here that may have frequented the clubs after the 08 financial crash could offer some of their knowledge (as I wasn't going to clubs at the time).
So, I'm speaking only on my experience at H8 and Bogart's. With all of the layoffs and unemployment rising, I'd expect that it should drive more dancers back into the clubs. As far as the pricing goes, all of them seem to have and keep an average floor price, understandably. Every now and then, you'll find a newer dancer into a club that will have considerably lower prices, but they don't seem to last long. It makes them very unpopular with the other dancers on the floor, because it makes it harder for them to make money.
I've been going to the clubs for over 20 years and while and while I can't remember 2008 specifically, I do remember that there was always a good selection and I almost always had fun. The most notable drop off of the talent was Covid, and we still haven't gotten back to where it was.
-
I don't see price drops of any sort happening unless we get a CRAZY inflow of talent thanks to the economy. If anything, I see prices going UP a little temporarily because things are more expensive and there is always a steady supply of horny guys.
But I don't know what I'm talking about. I haven't been active on the extras market that long. I haven't seen any "waves" first hand besides the Cubans coming in. Maybe chicks will lower their starting offers.

During the 2008 crash, the amount of hot new talent around Detroit was great.
This business goes in Cycles just like everything. Sadly the down cycle has been bad for years. Covid fucked up the overall talent levels.
Last time I went to FC I met a girl named Amanda and she wants $1000 and wouldn't budge. Is that normal?
MP,
I stopped going to FC because of the crazy prices. It is not normal for the girl not to budge, usually they start at $1000 and quickly come down. However I would frequently need to negotiate with 10 or more girls before I found one in my price range between $200 to $300. Talking to so many girls I would need to be in the club many hours. It became exhausting and I usually frequent clubs where the price is typically between $200 and $300. In those same clubs I meet a lot of girls who danced at Flight club where they charge more.
As for sticking to $1000 and not budging there are reasons to explain it.
First if it was later in the evening, that girl might have made her money. Say she already has $1500 in her purse. She can pay her rent and buy her drugs. She doesn't really want to do any more work, when she is broke she will be happy to bang you much lower, but she would rather not have you on that night unless you really pay her a premium.
If it was early in the evening and she has a whale coming in later. Lets say the guy coming in is her regular and he pays her $800 per session because her pussy is so pretty. Then you come along and offer her $300, she tells you she needs $1000 minimum. Her whale who comes in later may tell her that he will only see her if he is first girl she services. Now she could take you and lie to him saying she didn't take you, imagine a stripper telling a lie. When you are with her your pheromones get on her body and unless she showers it may be hard to get them off her and her whale may detect them. Remember this is a guy she see regularly. Usually she is fresh and clean for him, but he starts licking her thighs and he smell the scent of a latex condom. He tells her she had another customer and he ends the session. This may have happened with her and sure she got your $300, but didn't get his $800. Now he is a sure thing and you are an unknown risk. If he is giving her $800 she won't want to go with you for $800. You have to pay her more than her regular to make it worth to take the risk that she might not get his $800.
I once had a girl I knew quite well tell me that if I wanted to wait for her customer to leave the club she would take me back, and she would take me at advantageous rate, but she couldn't take me as long as her whale was in the club. I waited 3 hours and had a great time with her.
Keep trying you will find what you want.
Another dumb question: how likely are robs and general fuckery (not the good kind) to happen at Flight Club vs other clubs? This is assuming EVERYTHING is discussed on the floor before going up to VIP. I've only been to FC once years ago. The girls were out-of-this-world fine, but the prices had me running for the door fast. I was asking to finger their asses while I jacked off last time though. Since I've opened my menu up, I'm finding girls all over are strangely more OK with straight sucking / fucking than with ass play. So, I may go back to FC and see what I can get now (with some negotiation of course).
I can read reports to know who to watch out for, but I'm looking for a general "threat level" here. How much should I keep my big head on a swivel? I can count the amount of robs I've experienced in all my strip club days on one hand, so I'm not TOO worried. It's just that I don't go to these clubs often and want to be prepared for the next time. A night at flight club would probably have double the budget I'm used to for roughly the same action as other clubs if everything works out just fine. I definitely don't want a rob there.
HK,
Robs are mostly down to the monger. Some girls only try to cheat you, and some girls never try to cheat you. Most are opportunistic cheaters, if you give her a chance to cheat you she will take it. If you don't give her that chance she will happily service you with her female charms. She is about maximizing her profit and if that happens by spreading her legs or sticking her hand in your wallet, she is ok with either approach. Especially if it is your first time. Most girls see hundreds of guys during a year but only a few become repeat customers. So since the majority of guys are once and done with her, until she knows you like her and will repeat with her, her incentive is to get as much money as she can the one time she is with you.
She sees you as a wallet. Imagine you are sitting with a girl and you get up to walk out of the club and a $100 bill falls out of you pants and lands on the floor. She witnesses this. Most girls will pick it up and keep it. A small percentage will pick it up, chase you down and return it. Go into every negotiation like you are a living breathing $100 bill.
She is also good a reading guys, she does this way more than you do and has a pretty good idea who she can cheat and who she shouldn't.
Stay sober, don't fall in love, and be ready to walk away if things go badly. For example you negotiate for one thing in the main room, say licking her ear, then in the VIP she changes her mind or tells you that costs more. Don't get angry just pay for your songs and walk out. The VIP attendant is there to help you, ask him how many songs and pay her in front of him. And once a session goes bad don't try to fix it by throwing more money at her.
There is no formula for avoid 100% of robs. If you show me a guy a who has never been cheated I will show you a guy who has never been laid. If you want to enjoy the girls you will get cheated, it comes with the territory. But you can drive the number down to a very low percentage.

It does not work the way you think it does.
You are correct that all the negative recessionary things happening. Girls have less opportunity to earn money and many will turn to stripping to boost their earnings. So more girls will be dancing is a fact.
Prices will not come down. If you are one of the lucky boys still working or having enough wealth to spend on girls you will have many more choices. You can more easily find 8's and 9's, where you might have taken 6's or 7's before.
With less customers girls have to charge more to keep their earnings up. Less customers means they can't grow their earning by charging less and serving more customers. Most girls will get 1 or 2 customers a night instead of 3 or 4 customers a night. When there are an abundant number of boys some girls will try the strategy of lowing her price but seeing more guys.
The strip club economics don't lead to lower prices, the girls have to cover their tip outs and various fines so most girls every night they walk in the club they start out at negative 150 dollars. The club makes that regardless. If the girl only gets one customer for 150 the club takes all her earnings. She has to at least earn enough to walk out with money in her pocket, so if she thinks she will only get 1 customer then she needs $250 - $300 to walk out of the club with $100 to $150 in her pocket. I held the line at $200 for many years but I understand the economics of it. What you can do is find a girl who came out of the VIP. Then when you negotiate with her, you can say I know you covered your tip out on the last guy and you probably have $100 in your purse. You don't have to pay tip out twice and I will give you $200 which is all profit for you, so you will earn more money from me than you did from the first guy even though he paid you a higher amount because part of his pay was to cover your tip out. While this is a logical argument it requires the girl to have a rudimentary knowledge of mathematics, which many strippers are notoriously bad at mathematics.
In the pre-cell phone and texting era only so many guys showed up at a club on a given night and if there were too many girls none of the girls made money so the club would limit the number of girls who worked on any night so the supply and demand of boys and girls allowed every girl to make money. If they hired too many girls then the girls wouldn't make money and would leave for other clubs. That pieridine changed with mobile phones. Now the club wants as many girls working at once, because each girl when she arrives she message her regulars and tells them she is at the club and to come in and see her. So the club earns more money the more girls who are working and because the girls are not sharing a small pie, the pie has expanded allowing more girls to make money even if there are many girls dancing. In fact on some night girls only get on stage a couple times, and that used to be how the guys selected the girls but with cell phones guys show up knowing who they want to see, and both the club and the girls have higher earnings.

At that point, they take what they can get because the market is so saturated. Yes, prices are higher for utilities / groceries / etc. But getting if your prices aren't competitive, you get nothing. And getting something is better than nothing.

First time question
Hello all, I've been reading all the reports and am going to go to Landing Strip for the first time. I've never been to a club so I appreciate all you guys that report for us but I just wondered how much is valet over there? I've heard there's mandatory valet and I just want to bring enough money and not too much. Also any tips you guys have a first timer is appreciated.

Strip club economics don't seem to follow a simplified supply-demand model that you learn in Econ 101. For example: a worsening economy might make for more dancers out of desperation but it might chase some away because there are fewer guys coming in willing to spend. There are a lot of complicating factors and that's before you add the fact that the industry is not known for rational actors.

They do remember those who tip.
How much were you going to bring total? What are you looking for?

Henry VII
New to posting here, been a long time lurker.
This is a bit late since it took awhile to get my account activated.
Went to Henry's last Saturday early afternoon, maybe 2 other customers in there, and I seen 4 girls working.
It's been a few years, more like a few decades since I've been in there and it looks so different, still dirty looking though.
Had the opportunity to get one of the girls to go to in the back, can't remember her name but she talked about her ex and how he just got released a couple of months ago. Pitiful BJ, no energy and wouldn't work with out a cover.
Left the back and sat down to finish my beer, Angel comes over and she talks to me about going in the back. I tell her I don't have much because I just had an awful experience back there with another girl.
We agree on 50 for a BJ, 10 more for uncovered.
Damn, I wished she came over first. A lot more energetic and playfully.

Advice for a first-timer
Hi, I visit the clubs infrequently, but I've been going for almost 10 years. My two cents: 1) tip only the women you want to come talk to you 2) don't be dismayed if they say they will come to you and just go sit with their friends or regulars.
You meet all kinds of women in clubs, which is part of the fun. Some are shady, some know the business and know how to please. Some will be hot as hell but cold fish in the booth. Some don't look the greatest but could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch. I've met an aging porn star, a newly divorced MILF, seen boobs the size of zeppelins, waists as big around as a holstein. One of the best rides I've had in the booth was an intelligent, heavily tatted / pierced woman with a tattoo inside her mouth that said "cum ****. " I've been weaseled for drinks and had tongues stuck in my ear.
Landing Strip. This is my two cents, but it can get smoky and they have the music up too loud. Difficult to have a conversation. I've had a run of bad luck in there (see above), but that doesn't mean you will. Negotiate at the table, as many others here have said. When you go downstairs, pay the bouncer for the booth. Hope you have a good time.

You may have experience that I don't. And I am not trying to start an argument.
I simply mean if a girl owes the club $200 she won't go back with you for $150 or even $200 because she gets nothing.
She might go back with you for $250 one time because she has to take what she can get, but she won't do that very often, she will exit the business and fold sweaters or flip burgers.
The average price for the average guy does not come down in this scenario. That is based on the minimum costs to be a dancer and what she owes the club every night just for walking in the door.
