Later in the afternoon she came back to me and said she was able to host at her apartment in Crystal Lake. HERE'S MY RED FLAG 1 : I told her I was interested in a QV. 5 and she told that she wanted a gift card for that type of visit. I've run into this type of scam before where the provider wants you to give them the numbers on the gift card over a text message or phone call before they give you their address or lets you in. Basically they could be living any where in the world and with all these free text / calling apps they can pick a local number exchange and scam where ever. With all the info on the internet it's very easy to find an address number and streets that are real so the scammer can seem very real. RED FLAG 2: Look at the email address in the ad. Just saying. Be careful out there guys!
