I agree that the agency is now mostly an ala carte service. It's not what it used to be. I'm not paying more for DATY or BBBJ. I'm just not. I'll go elsewhere where it's not an issue.

She initially quoted me *double EMP market rate* for FS. I told her that was wayyyyyy too high. 2 minutes later she dropped it by 25%. I told her no way, best I can do is a 50% of her initial estimate, because that's market rate, and that's all I ever bring. It's like Las Vegas. Don't bring more than you can afford to spend or lose.

Told me a $ for CBJ to which I agreed. After, claimed she stated it was $$. Agency is good for a last-minute booking with (in most cases) an attractive eastern euro, but I think you just have to go in with the mindset that you're really only going to get a handshake, unless you want to drop a huge fee.
