Pricing Themselves Out
Thru the KBG wireless, SnS will be closing soon. Can anyone confirm? On a side note, Summitt is really turning into a kiddie bar. Really young bartenders working daytime shift. Need to go
find places to chill and watch football. A fat, bald fugly type of guy like me just don't fit in with these kiddie bars.
A KB closing during the second month of a supposedly lucrative football season? The real reason may be unknown at this time (I thought it was a popular place), but on the surface it appears to be a revealing insight as to the general state of KB business. Young wahine bartenders? No wonder some guys navigating toward Summit during the dayshift; kiddie bars no last anyway. Maybe the $3-4 beers taking its toll?

I don't think they are closing voluntarily, instead, it is what the landlord offered. I may be wrong about the date. My mind gets fuzzy as I age, and it was either end of October or end of the year. For some reason, I keep thinking October.

Other businesses in the area have also moved out.

Anyway, when and if it happens then we going know why because probably going affect other tenants in the immediate area. In the meantime, stay cool and take care.

Super block
They chase out the tenants probably because of preparation of redevelopment is near.

I seem to remember October having been mentioned, as well as seeing an article in the paper about the unique architecture of the Kenrock Building (which houses Twilight and other bars) still remaining in this day and age.
So what's the deal with the raid there anybody know? I was fucked up one time and told one of the guys to sit down and have a beer. He was not amused.

Looks like they already have started to fence off the property. No access to SnS and Evergreen parking from Kapiolani, only from Makaloa.

It is coming
Sooner than we think. We are going to lose 7 bars.
