And I would also like to thank one of the posters who was quoted (if only indirectly). I too tend to express myself in such a way that (for reasons unknown to me) it pisses others off. But I know in my heart that I have things to say from which others (if they are inclined to do so) can learn. What I have to impart is often not the kind of "actionable intelligence" for which they hunger. Very often it is of a more philosophical nature. But that is the role I have chosen for myself. I have my own justifications for doing this and I am sure there are many others who would disagree with me.

In any event I did a page-by-page review of all of CJ's photo sets from 2012 in Philly (about 55-60 pages) and South Jersey (General Reports) threads. It was another great year by our Hall of Famer, the greatest SW photog ever. Here are my three favorites, including my choice for Miss CookyJar 2012, Erica. Forget about personality and performance, my selection criteria was simply who has the hottest face and body. 90% come back. There is one that before she left to see her family she had to try to make enough money so she would be ok in front of her family. Is that correct? The best I seem to be able to to do is just repost a link to the original report, right? When I used to do this I could select the post number, copy and past the web address and it would lock directly onto a single report, no other surrounding reports would be visible. Now I see that when I do this it shows other posts as well but at least it starts with the one I want to feature. Not optimal IMO but I can live with it. On the other hand, the inability to search is a real buzzkill. Hoping that will be fixed.

When the photo is up, right-click on it and you should be able to save it. That's the only way I know to do this.

In past years, when the search feature worked, I tried to post the nominees with a head shot, body shot and link to her review. I had already started the process when I discovered that the search feature was not working. I eliminated the pictures and the links, and post the list by itself.

Around this time of year things tend to slow do. There isn't much happening as we spend time away from the avenue. The "Miss CookyJar," is just a little diversion, a little entertainment as we wait for the admin to return from his vacation and for things to return to normal on the streets.
