I see that Pure Serenity's ads now mention that Nuru is available. Would love some feedback on that if any members have experienced this at P.S. (feel free to PM). The one time I experienced a real nuru massage was an absolute blast. Also, any feedback on Bella? I'm making another trip this week and plan to test the waters.
Thought I'd give some info about an experience in Charlotte. Had a chance to visit yesterday, just some relaxation, take in the sights and sounds and all that. I was able to make my way to Athena's. I saw a nice lady named Jamie. Ad pictures were real and accurate, which is slowly becoming a big deal. She was spot on and very attractive, and made sure to take the time to make me comfortable and relaxed.
The area is good, the building / facilities were very clean and very nice.
It was 80 for the hour plus 50 for what I wanted.
I know a lot of us visit and travel when possible or necessitated by work, so if you're ever up that way, and have the time, I'd say give it a shot.
Long time NOONER, Took a trip to Southern Belles today after hearing good, bad, and ugly. Greeted by Rainy, easy on the eyes, fun ta ta's and nice deep trashy voice. TS was "OK" but doesn't compare to AAMP TS. After TS I met with Carson. DDG spinner with firm body and piercings! Decent Rub, could use more teasing but the HE and FIV made up for it! All for $.
Will be returning for appointment with Carson for many times to come! Girls matched BP photos and listed BP special was charged! Great lunch break!!
Not my thing and nothing like Internet videos. Nothing. Personally felt it was time wasted.

But coming on the board to find out answers is not a very efficient and effective way to do it. Especially since you are a newer member. All of us gets different experiences at the various spas and of course, someone's experience will not be the same as the next persons or yours or anyone's. It all depends on the spa, the person going in for services, what is wanted, what is offered, cost, heck even the mood of the participants on that particular day.
You will likely not find specific answers from members here. The best thing to do is read through the boards, the search function is a wonderful tool and to also just bite the bullet, head there, go in, and experience things yourself. That way you know what you want and can easily find out what you'll get.
Again this is not to sound mean or ill spirited. We all started somewhere, but a little research and diligence goes a long way.

All newer members should use this forum as a way to find out if a particular spa or individual provider can be trusted, gives good service, and are not going to have your ass sitting in a cell in Richland or Lexington County.
Go out and try things for yourself, come back here and post your experiences.

The nuru experience was not very slippery and I did not care for it. I would rather spend my time receiving a firm massage. I did get a good massage there. I did not care for the nuru portion.
My comment regarding it being a waste of time was specifically toward the nuru portion of my time.
The overall experience was just ok due to the expense of the time and the limitations encountered. I was personally expecting more based on the reviews posted earlier.
I understand many people like the P.S. Experience but I was disappointed. Buyers remorse upon leaving.
Like Jarnog said YMMV your experience at pure won't be the same as someone else's most likely. Honestly that's a good thing at subpar places that is where you have same experience. That is because its very robotic and rushed at most of those places. Take you $150 to $300 and find out for yourself. However I strongly recommend you don't go there looking for happiness in regards to your marriage. Just look to enjoy yourself.

If you want excellent firm full body you can't go wrong with a few of the Chinese places here.
They don't offer FBSM but you do get some occasional teasing and they don't mind you DIY.
