It's just my MO, that I always lay out the tip up front, to avoid any discussion later. It's a risk I take with possibly getting bad service.
That said, any requests for a tip up front is a bad sign, IMO, and ranks right there with haggling. Unless you're a cheap SOB, and offering below the market rate. The other problem with low tips is guys who only want a HE at a FS spa. The lady is potentially missing a better FS tip while providing a basic HE for a smaller tip.

I never go to a place that is new or unreviewed. By putting the going rate + at 5%, it indicates that I understand how things operate. It makes things flow easier without the pause to negotiate and then going into my wallet to pull the exact change. It also avoids the situation where a provider quotes above market as a negotiating starting point.
It only worked against me once about 20+ years ago, I ended up taking back part of my tip for services not rendered.

I can tip the normal amount for an average session. I can also tip less than normal for a subpar session. I rarely tip below average though, because subpar sessions are rare. I would say I tip higher than average most of the time, because I normally get very good to excellent sessions at RL.
Does anyone remember Sasha from Kyoto spa? Probably 15-20 years ago.

My favorites were Sunny, Amy, and Cherry during 2013 and 2014. I also went to Kyoto in 2002,2004, and 2005. I remember Sunny back in 2002 and 2004. Sunny was one of my favorites for a long time. Then in 2004 and 2005 I met April who IMO was one of the hottest providers that I've ever seen in this area in more than 20 years. The two hottest girls that I've seen in this area were April at Kyoto and a young girl named Cherry at SK Therapy in Laurel back in 2001. I had many good memories at Kyoto and at SK Therapy. I used to visit with Julie at RL I understand she's gone now who is the next best looking and performing their? Haven't visited in a while. I seen sunny had some good reports a while back on here.

She was one of my favorites from the time I met her at SK Therapy in Laurel back in 1999. I followed her while she worked at many different AMPs in the area from 1999 until she left in 2004. Then I met the other Sunny at Kyoto in 2013. I also followed this Sunny while she worked at Kyoto in 2013 and 2014 and then at Golden Health Center in 2015 until she left in 2017. I had great memories with both of these ladies named Sunny. Those were the good days at Kyoto. Take care.

IMO, Sue is the best looking of all the ladies working at RL. I like the way all of the ladies who work at RL look. If you are looking to have fun then I recommend Sunny. Sunny, Monica, and Sue are my favorites at RL. You will have a lot of fun with any of them. Take care.

My second favorite was Pink, but she left around the same time as Julie. I have been out of action for a while, but I think I can finally make a visit. Unfortunately I am going to wait until COVID numbers come down. I was planning to make Julie or Pink my first visit, but unfortunately they are no longer available.
