Grady's Low Hanging Fruit
Dang, I missed correctly guessing the cutesy-pootsy name Grady the Judd gave this one. I guessed it would be called Operation Chopper Stopper because of Bike Week. It was actually called Operation March Sadness 2.
Last week, Orlando Monger posted a sample of the type of ad that they normally use and that it was most likely one of their ads to trap you.
Hopefully no members of the Forum fell for any of the ads. Jane Doe / Amber told me she had an offer to go to Davenport for an Outcall late last week. She said she declined it because when I saw her earlier in the week, I warned her about the possible stings going on. I told her today that she probably dodged a bullet. The stinger went on for 6 days, so I am sure that Davenport offer she received was a set up.
Grain 56.
You could set your calendar by Grady's cutesy-poo 'human trafficking' operations. They happen every 3-4 months like clockwork, usually starting in December. They run the sting until they rope at least 100, then print up a nice posterboard with all the mugshots for Grady's press conference. The geezers in Polk just eat that stuff up and always remember to keep Grady in office at election time.
Somewhat Major sports person
What I can't figure out is why, in all the years he's been doing this, Grady has yet to reel in a really big fish like those boneheads down in Jupiter did with Robert Kraft. It's the sort of national spotlight Grady must have been just eating his heart out to have gotten.
OTOH, I can't feature any major celebrity being caught dead in the Polk wasteland.
A couple of years ago they got Tommy "two gloves" Gainey in a sting. And they got him the evening before he was set to tee it up in the PGA tour qualifying tournament. Grady had a field day with it. He even lied and said he missed his tee time. He did not. He went out and actually qualified for the PGA tour. They had video of him incriminating himself. He definitely didn't read the monger Bible because he made every mistake in the book. I asked some college buddies that live outside of Florida if they saw it on the news and they didn't so it must not have been a "big" enough sports star for them to air it nationally. Still, Gainey has won well into the millions on tour so that's a pretty big fish in my mind.
Bible banging delusional idiot and self promoter Grady Judd
This stupid asshole Grady Judd has worked for Polk County since 1972! That's more years than I have been alive on earth. He cites a 1,000 year old bible which Einstein referred to as a children's story book. He is backwards in modern times and is against things like sex outside of marriage and money for sex which few agree with. This is why religion is banned from law but he couldn't care less. I see whack jobs like Grady that want to promote their own agenda.
Commonly use religion to defeat science, law and facts. The fact that he submitted this current pony show to the national media as a "human trafficking sting" is so brazenly false it is worthy of a investigation by the DOJ. All he did was cast a wide net catching 100+ people wanting to have sex. This is defamatory and I wouldn't be surprised if he and his county get sued. In reality the few that were arrested in this event will most likely never be convicted, especially with the defense outlining Judd's MO on these stings. Judd loves the attention and really gets off embarrassing people.

More proof the media lies
With any luck, this will backfire on Grady the way the Robert Kraft thing backfired on Jupiter.
For starters, I can't imagine Disney is thrilled that it was broadcast all over the national news that three of their employees (the media said four) were caught in the sting. Not exactly a good look for The Mouse's tourism. It was a similar event that happened when a bunch of trail girls OD'd one week that got Disney to get the cops to crackdown on the trail (and that continues to this day).
The point is, Disney is a powerful outfit and they definitely don't like negative national publicity, which is exactly what Grady has brought on them with his latest 'operation'. Hopefully, Grady has, finally, gotten in way over his head.
There were no human traffickers and it wasn't a human trafficking sting either. Anyone putting that shit on their website or promoting it is a fraud and is knowingly publishing false and defamatory information. Proves how dangerous the media can be when some want easy money on a BS story rather than the truth. Hope they get called out on it and it blows up in their faces.

There's no staff to research / investigate / follow-up on anything. If it increases readership, it gets published. Sad but that's the reality today.
