Strongly suggest that you guys unfamiliar with the Block do two things if thinking about heading north.
1) RTFF about the Block and it's eccentricities
2) Think about some carpooling action. Hate to see newbies get lost or have a hassle parking etc etc. Going with an experienced Blocker will provide you with a much better experience.
It's official. I'm in serious lust.
Yesterday, work took me into DC. At lunchtime, I had an itch the required serious scratching (and gentle caressing). I tried Supra for the first time and, after going through the "Have you been here before?" routine, I seemed to have been able to pass muster. If that Courtyard is the old NRA HQ I think itjs on the circle that intersects with VT Ave. Just down the street from Downtown. It's also a short walk from DuPont Circle and Supra. Your biggest difficulty is deciding where to go!
