What I'm surprised about is that an AMP arrest was even made. Typically they're hard to hit because, and I'm armchair quarterbacking here, you'd either have to have some sworn testimony, probable cause to raid the joint in question and / or some hard evidence. We're all guessing, but in this case, maybe some poor sap was probably coerced into giving a statement, and since an affidavit stands as fact in a court of law, the rest is history. As for probable cause, I read once about a place that got busted because their waterworks were getting clogged up with used condoms. Surprise health and fire inspections (which happened to me once) are easy ways to get in the door just to get a quick peek about what's going on, and some scantily clad, bleary eyed woman sleeping on a couch surely raises some alarms (actually saw that in one place). Maybe the boys in blue lurked this forum and staked out a place they knew would be a home run, or one that some locals complained about. Maybe it was a site of some possible other bad / worse stuff happening, and the bawdy place stuff was just a way to get in the door. Who knows.

I like to think that uncle LEO looks the other way if its just a happy handy, either because it's too hard to prosecute, or a simple rub & tug isn't a problem to them. How else would 20+ of these places exist in the burg. But when you get into FS that's a whole other ball of wax. More un-taxable tip money is changing hands, more potential for disease, exploitation, etc.
I'll probably lay low for a bit, like everyone else, but personally this doesn't swear off AMP's for me. I'm much more concerned about getting mugged than a chat with uncle LEO. I generally avoid places that have a reported high instance of FS. Other than that I keep my head on a swivel and if pressed, don't talk to the cops.
