Test are for just peace of mind
For everyone: regarding the matter of mongers and providers giving test results, I'm curious about something. With all the new imaging tech these days, wouldn't it be relatively easy to create (or have someone else create) a fake report, especially using a real report as a template and then changing some of the info. If so, what might be the best way for mongers and providers to guard against that potential problem?
So you could easily take a legit old test and just have AI change the date or even fabricate an entire report. The main issue is you would have to have no sex or no unsafe sex for a month and then take the test. There is usually a 2 week to 4 incubation period before you test positive for a lot of STDs. Meaning If I did bb (anything really including nuru) 10 days ago and get a test tomorrow (negative results) I could still have G, C, S, HPV, HIV, HSV. Theoretically I might be able to spread it as well.
Preventing or Accepting HSV-2?
I am not too deep into mongering yet, I am still doing a lot of reading first. Apparently, HSV-2 (genital herpes) is not curable, can be transmitted skin-to-skin (between the "boxer shorts" area of two people, so wearing a condom is better, but still leaves you vulnerable) asymptomatically (no visible break-outs) due to shedding by carriers. Most carriers of HSV-2 will remain asymptomatic for the rest of their lives. The only way to minimize risk of receiving HSV-2 from penetrative vaginal sex with a provider would be to use a condom, hope she is not having an asymptomatic outbreak, and is taking anti-virals.
I haven't sworn off dating or having kids (risk of neonatal herpes) one day, and I would hate to have to disclose to prospective partners if I become HSV2 positive, if it wasn't hard enough to find a good one already.
Do you guys have any additional thoughts / ideas about prevention, and / or you've already accepted the uncertainty / risk of becoming HSV2 positive if you continue banging (I. E. "I've done the best I could to be safe, or it's just feels too good, if it happens it happens)?
