Too many clubs in a small area put the places that weren't in Ybor out of business and there were too many clubs in Ybor to make money for each place on a 7 day a week basis. So the Ybor clubs started to only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and then, many of them only from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Pavlovian conditioning turned Tampa into a weekend-only town for nightclubs after that.

Bottom line, outside of strip clubs and sports bars, you are not finding much going on Sunday thru Wednesday.

As for Floyds, it was only open on Friday and Saturday anyhow but it's been gone for over a year, now. A Hard Rock Cafe sits in the space it once occupied.

Just so you know I DID do a search. But when you type in Layla and hit search a ton of forums results are returned and when I clicked on each of them none of them went to the Layla cite. They just took me to the basic forum. I tried a number of different "advanced" searched but each time had to wait 60 seconds between searches, If you have a suggestions or advice on shortcuts or ways to be more efficient or specific in searching that would be great and I won't need to ask for 411.

Sorry about that. Got it figured out.
